Tens of slashes were instantly released in the blink of an eye. Those slashes cut a stone pole into many pieces. The pieces fell to the ground with heavy thuds. 


Rain sheathed his sword back into its scabbard and exhaled. He frowned at the result that he got. He was disappointed. 


“I’ve been training for months but I feel like I haven’t made any progress at all. These dummies can’t be a benchmark for me.” Rain looked at all the destroyed training equipment laid around. 


He remembered the time when he fought against Crymillia. He thought that he put up a good fight at first. He just couldn’t find a way to finish the fight. He thought that he could somehow overcome Crymillia. He was wrong. 


Crymillia showed her true power. The menacing aura Rain felt at that moment froze him in place. He couldn’t move due to fear. Rain felt goosebumps every time he recalled that feeling. A presence stronger than even the Colossi who were considered legendary beasts.
