It was snowing lightly in the morning. Matthew was just about done packing up his necessities. He slung the scabbard of his sword on his back before putting his backpack on. 


Matthew looked outside through the window. He could see the forest of leafless trees that went on for miles. The ravine was also visible from his room. He had been there several times during his training here. 


Raisya had been teaching him how to fight and astral control during one while Platinum taught him about magic since he had some capacity of magic capability. The chimaera siblings were also trained alongside him as well Chloe and although their growth was rapid, Matthew was exponentially growing compared to them. 


Matthew looked at his scaly right arm. His arm transformed into a dragon-like limb when he forcefully used too much power. Now it is stuck like that. 


“[Mirage]” Matthew casted a spell that he remembered.
