Matthew was a high schooler who somehow transferred into another world after playing a certain game along with a friend. He did not know what happened but he had set his sight to get back home. To do so, he became a Hunter, an adventurer. Amidst his struggles to find a way home, he met various allies and enemies and even his true past.

Matthew, Rain, Gon, and Theraphosa were gathered by the entrance to the tomb after they managed to drive away the insect king named Noso. They regrouped inside the tomb and discussed their next action. 


“I can’t believe that you were able to crack that monster’s armour. As expected of Lord Matthew!” Theraphosa praised him with shining eyes. 


“Yeah, you were really strong. He ran away right after getting punched.” Gon said. 


Rain was also impressed but he asked Matthew a question instead of praising him. “Still, if you could’ve beaten him, why didn’t you do it? You could’ve finished him off.” 


Matthew shook his head from side to side. “I wasn’t confident. I put all of the power I could conjure into that one punch and it only cracked his shell. His armour is definitely tougher adamantite. My hand hurt from punching him too.” Matthew showed his right hand that still had a tingling sensation.
