Matthew was a high schooler who somehow transferred into another world after playing a certain game along with a friend. He did not know what happened but he had set his sight to get back home. To do so, he became a Hunter, an adventurer. Amidst his struggles to find a way home, he met various allies and enemies and even his true past.

Rain, Bartolo, and Mala were currently executing the final phase of their subjugation quest, exterminating the rest of the insects. Meanwhile Matthew was dealing with their king, and they proceeded with their plan without him. Without holding back their strength anymore, they were able to swiftly clear a large number of the insects that kept swarming them. 


Matthew joined them after about an hour into the process. Perhaps no longer smelling their king’s pheromone, the insects scattered and even started interspecies fights. It made exterminating them much easier. 


“This nest is so big. We should split up.” Rain suggested. 


“Sure. I kinda destroyed a huge chunk of it already.” Matthew said. 


“So that was the explosion from before. I have several questions, but that will be for later. Kill any insects that you can find. As for the eggs and larvae, we’ll use toxins and fire just as planned.”
