In a shack hidden in the middle of nowhere. 


A man in old rags and a woman in a casual white shirt with brown pants were enjoying a meal at the table. They were having steak and salad. 


"Mm~m! Finally after five months, you managed to get the hang of cooking. This is good!" The man in old rags, Loki, said with an excessive expression. 


"Thank you for teaching me." Rose said with her head low, embarrassed by his praise. 


"Don't be shy. I've lived long enough to know just about everything. Cooking is but a small matter." Loki put another piece of steak into his mouth and kept speaking as he chewed. "I never asked before, but why did you want to learn to cook?" 


Rose was temporarily shocked upon hearing that question. "Wh-why do you care anyway?" 


"Keep them to yourself!" Rose said and hurriedly stuffed her mouth with food. 


Loki made a devious smirk. "Ah, so it is because of the boy?"
