Chapter 234: Declaration pt.2

On the third day after the meeting, the declaration ceremony was held. The ceremony took place in front of the elven palace where hundreds of citizens were gathered to witness the surprising and sudden event. Normally, a declaration like this would take at least two weeks of preparation since it required the official papers from all nations, but since this was only between the Dwaven and Elven Kingdoms with both parties already present, the process was quick.

Most of the audience were elves but there were specks of other races visible in the crowd. Their chatter revealed what made them anxious about this event.

"A new Dragon Emperor? The last one was like 70 years ago." Said a male elf.

"Well, compared to the previous one that was several centuries ago, this time is pretty quick." Said a female elf.

"It's so sudden though? There's literally no news of a dragon on the level of an emperor." A tortoise beastwoman made a remark.
