“What are you doing here, Loki?” Matthew’s voice was unexpectedly calm although his expression said otherwise. 


“For you to almost see through my spell… Your immunity to mental affecting magic is incredibly high. I just wanted to say hi.” ‘Jack’ was trying to be funny to ease the tension, but it only made it worse. 


“Answer me.” Matthew said in a more serious tone. 


‘Jack’ sensed that his binding spell just lost a string in its magic circle. Matthew was overcoming the binding spell, no, he could easily break out if he wanted to. That was like a warning from Matthew. 


“Well, sorry if you don’t believe me, but it’s true. I figured that it’s about time I risked my life meeting you in person. Thankfully I was prepared.” ‘Jack’ stood up and avoided even touching Matthew’s fist.
