These individuals all existed a long time ago when magic knowledge was highly revered as difficult as it was. Nowadays, with the emergence of magic technology, there has been a significant decrease in those that strive for high magic knowledge. With magic technology, even common folk can imitate spells and create magic using certain tools developed by those with magic knowledge. Magic technology allowed for development of water piping systems, communication, weaponry, entertainment, and many others.
