Several days after the chimaera’s subjugation of the hydra, Matthew received a message from Cecilia to come to her mansion to discuss an important matter. Within a few hours, Matthew had already arrived at Cecilia’s mansion. 


As usual, Matthew was warmly welcomed by the servants… and also a bunch of reporters. 


“Lord Dragunov! Can I ask you something?” 


“Lord Dragunov, please answer my question!” 


“What can you tell us about- hey! Stop pushing!” 


All of them were ignored by Matthew and were stopped by the guards. 


“How the hell did they know that I’m coming?” Matthew sighed after passing them. 


Rika, Cecilia’s head maid, greeted Matthew with a smile. “Welcome home, Lord Dragunov.” 


Matthew also replied with a smile. “Hm, I’m back.” 


“Lady Cecilia is waiting for you in the living room. Please follow me.” Rika led Matthew inside while a pair of maids closed the doors behind them.
