Darkest Before the Dawn

She tries to melt away into the wall, looking around frantically looking for a way to escape. I step forward trapping her between her arms, pinning her to the wall permitting any escape. 


"Why...?" I gasp out feeling so broken inside, why didn't she want me. She hadn't even met me and she had already decided I wasn't good enough for her. 


"It's not what it looks like." Lillian tries to explain but my wolf harshly growled in her face enraged by her worlds. 


"I think it's exactly what it looks like, you've replaced me!" I snarl and she whimpers dropping her head down in shame. I almost want to hug her into my chest and comfort her, but she is in the wrong here not me.
