"The goddess was over taken with anger when her husband brought home another woman pregnant with his child. That's when she realized that she should've listened to her elders when they told her that human men are no good.
( Not that the cultivators are any better but at least you know what you're getting.)
She took her children and left him, but not before leaving the two adulterers with a gift.
She casted an enchanting spell that caused the man to crave human flesh. And the woman, she just made her super sensitive to everything, any object or person or animal she touches will cause her immense pain. Now that it was just the two of them living together the man killed his concubine. The entire process was excruciatingly painful for the vixen as she was still breathing as her husband ate her.
The spell she casted onto the man and woman was somehow contagious causing all of the men and women to catch it. Humans in this world are bad people by nature so I personally think she was doing more good than bad. The humans were getting out of control, their actions more gruesome and beastlike.
So an army of cultivators came together and thought up a plan to stop the evilness. Joining forces they combined their power to seal the wicked humans in the forbidden land. It was very efficient and there were no more canabalistic creatures running about.
Over the years though, all of the pent up evil and sin changed the features of the humans. To be more precise they are more beast like. They have glowing green eyes with bulky and coarse skin black as night. Speech has long been forgotten, the only noise coming from them are guttural sounds of agony and roaring rage. They stand on two feet like a human,but instead of hands they have long silver claws with jagged endings. The only thought they have in their head is revenge against the people who put them there. Which would be us. Their body is covered in matted fur with patches of skin.
For years the forbidden land has been successful in keeping them away from us, but around five hundred thousand years ago a prestigious and well known Oracle had a vision that the forcefield around the forbidden land will collapse, and only the one with hair as silvery as the moon and eyes with two different colors shall be the one to lead us to victory.
The chosen one is someone who will be blessed by the moon goddess herself. Aka me. And she shall have a beauty that will cause the downfall of empires.
Her husband shall be a prince with knowledge rivaling the continents best scholars. His hair shall be the color of molten lava as it oozes from a volcano and eyes a blazing gold, like flames of a forest fire as it burns eerily throughout the night.
These two people will lead the Immortals into victory for the great war, their love will be admired and envied by many as they sit on a throne ruling the world. They will be the ones to join all of the kingdom's bringing our continent into a new and peaceful era."
I feel overwhelmed.
I thought that once I got here it would just be smoother sailing since I know the plot but it seems as though my appearance created some type of butterfly effect. Everything is steering off from the original story line.
"Wow, this, is a lot to take in." I say to her.
"Do not fret my child. Just work hard and stay true to yourself." The goddess then leaves my mind. And they soft luminescent glow of the moon retreats to the outside world my body landing softly on the ground.
"The moon goddess has spoken to Melia, this confirms our guesses even more. After the banquet next week she shall move in with me and I will teach her. You cannot let the world know it's her until she turns two. Do not ask why as I do not know."
The elder then hands me to mommy and we leave his manor.
"Towards the palace." Daddy tells the coachman.
Mommy takes me to my room and rests me down in my crib. I feel a bit scared though, after all the drama that just happened my nerves are tense. Luckily mom allows Benjie to sleep in my crib with me. He and I are tucked under my fluffy blue blanket with Mr.Fluffles in the middle. Mommy pecks our foreheads lightly before singing a lovely soft lullaby;
"Great grandfather met great grandmother
When she was a shy young miss
And great grandfather won great grandmother
With words, more less, like this...

Mom always songs the best lullaby. Listening to her soft and comforting voice I quickly fall asleep while sucking my finger.
