"M-Mr. Wrost?!" Mr. Houston said surprised that the man he was worried to see was no other Mr. Wrost who proposed marriage to his daughter and promised him company cooperation and projects in the future.

What is he doing here? Mr. Houston thought that Mr. Wrost was already at the church waiting for his bride to arrive. He did not expect that Mr. Wrost himself would show up to look for Elisha who runs away from her wedding.

"Stop staring at me like you see a monster, Mr. Houston. Answer my question. Where is my bride?" Mr. Wrost asked one more time, glaring at the family who he knew treated Elisha worse than their servant.

On the other side of Mr. Houston were Elaine and Matilda. Elaine was not in her right mind after seeing the man who she did not fully expect to be young and handsome. All this time, she was happy that Elisha, her stepsister will marry a pervert and an old man just like what the rumors said. However, all the rumors were just rumors.

"M-Mr. Wrost... E-Elisha runaway..." Matilda stuttered. Did not know how to explain the situation. She was scared at the aura of Mr. Wrost. It is truly true that it is unlucky to make him mad.

"Mr. Houston, I thought everything was under control? How did my bride escape? Did you know who is behind this?" Mr. Wrost asked with a cold voice.

"Mr. Wrost, everything is going well until Elisha asks that she forgot something from her room, but we did not expect that she would run away. I am sure that some helped her to escape" Mr. Houston explained. He needs to pursue Mr. Wrost that he is not liable for Elisha's escape however he just remembered that he made a promise to him.

While Mr. Houston kept on pursuing Mr. Wrost that he will do everything to find Elisha, the security management suddenly knocks outside to inform them about what they have discovered.

"Mr. Houston, we found out that Ms. Elisha went to the parking lot and rode the same design of the wedding car that she was supposed to ride for her wedding today," the security said as they showed the family the video record that was caught in the parking lot.

In the video, they saw Elisha walk toward a white car and talk to a strange man. The family was surprised when the man held Elisha's hand and pulled her inside the car. The white car that is similar to her wedding car speeds up and drives away from the hotel.

"What was that? Is that Elisha's other man?" Elaine said not bothered by what Mr. Wrost might think. She suddenly thought and changed her mind that she might get a chance of Mr. Wrost that she is now gone.

"Mr. Wrost, we think that Ms. Elisha thought that the white car in front of her was the right car for her wedding and the other one is that... she was kidnapped by a strange man" the security assume as they analyze the video of Elisha riding a suspicious car.

"Kidnap? Who will kidnap our daughter? She is a stupid--" Matilda suddenly stops when she saw the death glare that Mr. Wrost was sending her. She totally forgot about Mr. Wrost is interested in Elisha.

"Zoom the face of the man," Mr. Wrost said and the security quickly followed his order.

When the video zooms in on the face of the man that took Elisha away, Mr. Wrost suddenly clenched his fist. He knew very well who that man was.

"T-that man... is that Mr. Larick?" Mr. Houston asked, and Mr. Wrost nodded.

"Mr. Larick? Did you mean the famous attorney in the country? Kristof Larick" Elaine said in surprise.

"Yes"

"Wait! How come they knew each other? We never saw Elisha talk to a man before" Matilda said.

They will never know because they never cared about Elisha. All they cared about was how they are going to put Elisha to good use and how they will take advantage of poor Elisha who knew nothing but to follow their orders because she is scared and weak.

Mr. Wrost was thinking about the man who took Elisha. Kristof Larick is the private attorney of the number one businessman in the country. What is his relationship with his bride?

"Are you sure that Jane did not help her? Look for her again!" Mr. Houston angrily shouted at his phone, trying to find who helped Elisha escape.

This gave Mr. Houston a hint when he heard about Jane.

"Open the television" Mr. Wrost suddenly asked, which made everyone in the room get confused. Why would Mr. Wrost want to open the Television? Did he want to watch the news?

When Matilda opened the television, the whole family saw the news about the most and number one businessman in the country. The most shocking part is when the camera focused on the white car in front of the big church.

"Don't tell me it is..." Elaine said when they saw who the man got out of the car. It is Kristof, the man who took away Elisha, and the girl he guided out of the white car with a confused look is no other than...

"Oh my! Mom! It is Elisha!"
