Elisha is an illegitimate child of the Houston Family. Her parents sold her to an old businessman to save their company from losses and to maintain their family's wealth. Throughout Elisha's life, she did nothing but obey her father's orders, suffers the pain and oppression of her stepmom and stepsisters. "Mom, is it really okay to do that to Elisha?" Elaine asked. She was thinking if it is fine for Dashiel to go home without knowing that Elisha will be staying at the Houston Family. After all, she just went with them without leaving a message to her maid. 


"It's fine because if it is not, the guards would have stopped us the moment we took Elisha," Matilda said and left for dinner. 


Elaine looked at the closed door of the basement. She suddenly thought that maybe Elisha was also being treated like trash at the Frost Mansion. 


Poor Elisha, I think nobody likes you. Elaine did not know that Elisha was being treated like a Queen at the Frost Mansion, a total opposite of what she was thinking. 


During dinner, Matilda ordered the maids to never give Elisha a meal. She wanted her to suffer to pay for her sins she has caused to the family especially the humiliation she gave to them. 


"Jack, what are you planning now that Elisha was home?" Matilda asks.
