When Karen shook Celeste awake, the Sun had barely even risen. The sky was still grey, the cool breeze was making it even harder to get up. Her whole body begged for more sleep but Celeste groggily sat up. Thomas was leaning against a tree, smiling tiredly at her. She just grimaced.
" The sooner we leave the better" Will said loudly. Karen was running around, making sure they left nothing behind. Will was tending to the horses.
The horses!
There were three, strong, and well built. They were the white castle horses Celeste was used to. She knew they could get them to Tournfort swiftly.
The sooner they left, the sooner they could get rid of Celeste.
She didn't speak a single word throughout breakfast, she couldn't bring herself to.
When they were done, they climbed onto the horses.
