Celeste could make out the towering old gray castle of Tournfort. As a kid, she had heard a great many stories about it. Some from her maids, some from friendly soldiers, most from her brother.
" Never venture the castle at night" They had said. " That's when the ghosts dance!"
The castle didn't scare her anymore. Although it did look just as miserable as the last time she had seen it. They had a full view of the walls of Tournfort now, the gray walls had stood for a thousand years even though they looked ready to crumble. In some ways, Tournfort was perfect for a base. It was completely isolated from the outside world, the only wall into the city was through the Gate. Tournfort was a port city, its edges touched the Sea of Aris. If they were running out of food, well then at least they'd never run out of fishes.
