Getting out of the courtyard was like a single gulp of fresh air before being submerged in the water again. Celeste didn't have time to catch her breath, she couldn't afford to let her guard down. Alec and Morgan led the way. Both of them were clearly exhausted, Celeste tried not to stare at the blood clinging to them. She was dimly aware of Thomas and Will behind her. There weren't many guards here, occasionally one or two would rush at them. Alec and Morgan took care of it.
The sword in her hand was feeling heavier with every passing second. Her throat burned terribly. The adrenaline was fading off slowly leaving behind a shaking mess.
" The others?" She croaked.
" I think your Uncle and Ser Jaime made it out," Morgan said in a strained voice. " They'll be doing their job, we need to concern ourselves with doing ours."
