The Mumbling Man

In a particular village, one can often find himself a particularly strange man.

A man that can always be found mumbling in a certain tavern.

The village is a very relaxing place.

It is a city filled with canals and all sorts of water passageways.

At this particular time of the year, the city is filled with snow, as the water in the canals is frozen over.

However, that is of no importance.

What is important is this particular man.

A man that drinks to keep his mind numb.

This is a rather short tale.

It is the tale of the first man to ever make contact with a devil.

Now, that's not the only particularly interesting thing about this man.

There are many others that have met devils.

But what makes him different is that he's the only human to ever make a contract with a devil.

Now, there are many rumors surrounding devils.

Some say that, since angels are evil, demons must be good.
