Dante looked at the giant banner peeking through the window of the train.

“Only through sacrifice can we move forward,” said the giant banner. It was a famous line that the great leader always used to end his speeches. And one of the many phrases you could find pretty much anywhere.

A small ringing noise brought Dante’s attention to inside the train, and more specifically, to his wrist, which was adorned by a metallic band-like device. The strange instrument was beeping, indicating that Dante had around four hours left.

Dante sighed.

It would seem like he would have to get off at the next stop. It was a shame, really. Normally, the train was always filled, but today was a bit different. Even though he didn’t really mind the crowd, the lonely atmosphere of the train with the red and blue glow of the outside city gave him a sense of comfort.

But duty calls, he knew. And there was nothing he could do about it.
