I am Me and My Circumstance

How does it feel, my little nihilist?

“I am not a nihilist; I am an absurdist”

Oh. Do you have problems with the world I have created? What could have caused such a disconnect between your mind and the world around you?

“I dislike Camus, if you didn’t know”

Camus also stated that nostalgia is one of the emotions that causes such disconnect.

“As if. It was you who caused it”

Ah yes, blaming the non-existing entity. A classic. You know, it's times like these where I regret creating you.

“You have no regrets at all. I can tell from your stupid grin, ”

At least you’re not an idiot. The last human was.

“Can I go now?”

No. It’s not your turn yet. Your story is a bit too sad for the reader right now. And I like where Dante’s story is progressing towards.

“Dante. I’ll have to remember that. Make him team up with me,”

So that he can help you kill me?

“Yes”

If killing me is your purpose, then you are no longer an existential. You have a purpose. Even more so, that purpose is defined by God. Therefore, you are religious.

“I am an absurdist because I suffer from the absurd. I suffer from the absurd because I reject you as a God. If I kill you, my pain will cease to exist"

So killing me will fix all your problems?

“It will”

How can you be so sure?

“I just know it”

Let me remind you that you are not the main character. This is not your story.

“And you barely have any control over it as well. Your creation is out of your control. You gave us free will, after all. I can become the main character”

Free will huh? Well, that is true.

“And do not worry, I will destroy you, regardless of which world you send me towards. It is not a matter of how but when,”

Quite the optimist. A positive absurdist? I can’t wait to see how you will affect the story.

“I also can’t wait to slap the absolute shit out of you”

I’m kind of into it.

“I’m sure you are going to love act two”

What’s act two?

“When I shove a sword up your ass”

Now that, I would not like.

………………………

“Tell them about my powers”

Now, why would I do that?

“I thought they would be interested”

Maybe.

“Well, they’ll know soon enough”

Some day.

“Send me in”

Before I do that, did you know that you are the first human ever to talk to me in such a way? It makes you remarkably interesting. I wonder what they will be expecting.

“How kind of you to give out compliments. I’d prefer if you would save that kindness for your creations”

Do they deserve it?

“Humans are evil because circumstance makes them so”

But are the circumstances not products of their own device? Are they not the ones that fight with each other? Why blame God for the sins humans commit? I have done no evil.

“Then are babies just evil? If they are born evil, is that not the design of the creator? Did you not introduce suffering in this world?”

A good argument. But you have biological needs that come from a lack of divinity. I am a God, but I am not all-powerful.

“Even if you were, I would still kill you”

You are so similar to Dante.

“He’s going to agree with me. Of that, I am sure”

I highly doubt it, absurdist. After all, your power is the most sickening thing to ever exist.
