Chapter 55: King's scheme

After resting for one night their energy has been refilled. Of course Ray is the first one who awakes, and as usual he will head out to feel the morning sun. As he goes down the stairs, he notices some of the Elf are looking at him but Ray just ignores them.

He steps out the door and starts to take a deep breath. Ray wander around the kingdom, and he notices something unusual. When he look at the Elf some of them seems tired, and when Ray approaches they give a smile but it's not genuine.

"Are you okay sir? You seem tired."

Ray asks the question to the elderly.

"Hoho, young man I'm okay it's normal for an elderly to get tired fast."

A short reply from the elderly.

Ray bow and leave the old Elf, Ray sure something fishy about this kingdom. The kingdom is also quiet, usually there will be a voice of kids playing and the sound of the busy street.

"Tezz, are you there?."

"Yeah I'm here why?."

"Don't you find something fishy about this kingdom?."
