CHAPTER THIRTY-ONE

AEDION'S POV

I wake up to the sun's rays caressing my face, with the sound of the bird's chirping and the warmth the sun is emitting in the room, I can tell it's now morning.

Remembering where I slept off, I quietly wake up without even sparing a glance towards, where Avyanna is sleeping as I am hell bent on leaving her room before she wakes up. I slowly reach for the door knob and almost take my first step out until, I hear her soft, angelic voice.

"You know, you don't have to sneak out?" Avyanna amusingly asks. "You woke me up when you were snoring a few hours ago."

I slowly turn around with an apologetic smile "I actually don't snore you know." As I finally look at her. She looked so beautiful with her messy, sleep hair and her lazy morning eyes. This is the sight I would always want to wake up to. Now I am very sure I made the right decision, when I told the Moon goddess I choose Avyanna even if it means spending the rest of eternity grovelling for her forgiveness.
