Chapter 30: The Betrayal

Aayat walked into Zinat's room and saw her crying. She instantly went and hugged her.

"Zinat, please don't cry, you know how much Zubair hated your tears, he would turn the world upside down just to make you stop crying," Aayat said.

"Promise me, you will live, as the happy Zinat, the one whom Zubbu love, the one who is strong, the one who is his queen, our queen," continued Aayat.

"I will not come back there, not because I don't have it in me to face the past, but because I need to finish up the war that has started long back," added a determined Aayat.

"Remember don't be impulsive, be calm and wise. Take one step at a time, be the princess you know you are deep inside," instructed Zinat.

"I will come back and by then I want you stronger, okay?" she assured. Aayat helped her pack her bags and spent the rest of the day with her. Aditya went back to his hotel after diner to pack his bag, while Dafne stayed over at her boyfriend's place.
