chapter 34 | Hibi

My eyes watered as strong chemicals stung my eyes. I held my breath to avoid inhaling it because I knew whatever it was would knock me out as soon it hit my system. "We've got you now you slippery bitch" I bit back a witty reply and continued to try and fight out of the persons hold.

My eyes went back to Caspian who was on his knees as his eyes blinked rapidly to fight back unconsciousness. The person who struck him held their weapon up high ready to strike him again which, by the look of the metal stick he was holding tightly in his grip, would definitely be the killing blow.

I ripped out of my captor's grip for a second and screamed "Caspian!"

Instead of looking at me he smartly rolled away causing the weapon to miss his head narrowly. He immediately engaged in battle with the person as his next move was to kick the weapon out of the guy's hands.

My moment of relief was cut off by me being harshly yanked backwards.
