CHAPTER TWENTY-FIVE

Auria raised her hand. Her group were already positioned at the bottom of the ravine, their eyes scanning at the area. She looked at her group in the eye and spoke softly.

“Your weapons will be used to attack and deflect.” She pointed at the Gildan soldiers. She then divided them into groups with two Illuvian knights each. “Illuvians, use that time to sever their limbs. They will use their anti-magic on me since they know that we would have at least two or more magic users with us.”

She focused her eyes on the two mages with them.

“Use the stone I gave you to create the same barrier for each warrior. Stay hidden so that you can focus. We have eyes on high but we do not take chances. You hear me?”

Everyone nodded grimly. Since she will be leading the charge, she cannot distribute her energy between barrier building and attacking. Hopefully her new invention will keep the enemy preoccupied until they have been wiped out.
