THE HEART OF ILLUMIA

Jenny felt Auria’s heightened heartbeat and knew that she might be in danger. She sprinted back to where she parted with Auria and saw the young woman battling three shadowy figures while three more stood at the side lines watching. She got ready to join the fight but when Auria stood up and pointedly asked if the figures were satisfied, Jenny checked her movements before eyeing the men warily. 


 She knew that her mistress can handle things on her own. This unusual circumstance that they were facing was keeping her on edge. Jenny knew that they were sitting ducks if ever Silvus decided to attack them. Finding out that the princess managed to retain her powers was a small consolation from the desperate need she still felt at being helpless. 


 She looked back at the creatures that tried to circle around the princess. Even with a wooden stick she will do her duty as commander and as an Illumian knight. 


CHAPTER SIXTY – TWO
