Chapter Twelve

Later on when Alex and Mel finally get back to the apartment, they just manage to get in and close the door when Alex pulls her into his arms and just holds her against him for a few minutes. He then says "I am so sorry, I am so sorry that I hurt you and made you cry. I am sorry for everything that I put you through, for everything that happened." Mel moves back a little in his arms so she can look at his face and he looks sad. She says to him "It's okay, we will get past this. Don't worry you are not going to lose me, I can't live without you. I love you so much." Alex says "I love you too" and leans in for a kiss. He then says that he needs to go and shower and will be back in a few minutes, then walks through the bedroom towards the bathroom.
