At the University of Magic and Dark Arts, anything can be possible; practicing your own magic or even dark arts, have a week long events, and have mentors for specific gifted students. Philomina, a gifted student, will be going to a lot of trials in mastering her own magic while dealing things like friendship, rivalry and love.

Moments Like This

"Miss Philomina?" The nurse said while waving a hand in front of Philomina's face. Still in dazed of what just happened between her and Paimon. 


"Ah! Yes?" She stuttered, cutting off from her inner thoughts about what happened a few minutes ago. The nurse looked at Philomina strangely then she shrugged and continued to do her routine. She is checking the checkboard silently and Philomina just waited for the results. 


"Hmm... Okay Miss Philomina, your results say that you are good to go. But please be careful from now on, if this continues, we don't know what might happen to your body." She firmly reminded Philomina of her condition. 


"Excuse me miss. Do you happen to know where my mentor went?" She blurted out to the nurse before she could leave the room. And the nurse turned towards her and said, 


"Hmm... I am not sure about that. He was quick on his feet when he went out of your room." 


"I see. Thank you very much for taking care of me." Replying to the nurse and she nodded then went out of Philomina's room. Silence filled the room once again, making Philomina go back to her inner thoughts of her mentor's action. 


'He wouldn't do that on a whim. I mean he's not that kind of person, isn't he?' She carefully thought for herself. Having mental flashbacks of her mentor's actions; during training, daily activities, and now. Shaking her head to remove her thoughts of her mentor. 


"I should not be having this kind of thought. He is my mentor and Principal Hyodo firmly said about the rules." She muttered to herself. A knock on the door takes her back into reality and a familiar voice was heard, 


"Can I come in Philomina? It's Vian." Philomina lightly slapped both sides of her cheeks to compose herself and replying to Vian to enter her room. 


"Hey, I heard from the nurse that you are good to go." Vian went to a nearby chair and sat down. Observing her friend from head to toe, she crossed her arms in front of her. 


"Yeah, I'll just have to be careful of my actions from now on." She replied with her usual carefree smile towards Vian. And to Vian, she nodded and looked at her friend intently, like she is staring into Philomina's soul. 


"Care to explain your red cheeks?" She pointed out Philomina's red cheeks and she quickly held onto them, trying to hide its redness from Vian. Sadly, she already pointed it out so Philomina doesn't have a choice but to confide to her closest friend. 


"I see." Is what came out from Vian's mouth after listening to Philomina's story. Silence came between the two of them. Philomina sighed deeply and shook her head, 


"I guess I'm just overthinking things. I mean like I said, it's my first time to come into contact with the opposite sex." 


"Yeah, for now just try to relax and just don't think too much about it. Right now you should really focus on-" 


"The exam. I know. Now that I can go back to training, I'll double my efforts to catch up with you guys." Philomina said looking up so inspire and energetic making Vian chuckled at her friend. 


"Why don't I help you with your things? And then we can go to the cafe for a discussion and catch on the lost time." She offered and both agreed to do so and started to clean up the room and fix everything, so they can leave the horrible past behind and look towards the future, the upcoming wizard exam.
