Departure

Rin helps Aria to get to her bed and hear that girl’s mumble, “I love both Rin-chan and Ryo-chan but nothing exceeds my love to sweets!”

She wonders why that girl always mumbles or sometimes shouts weird things when she’s drunk. She fixes blanket on that girl to ensure her best friend won’t sleep in cold. After that, she notice a calendar beside her bed that has one date that label ‘Go out with Rin-chan~!’ that happen in few days. That make her smile since she knows they always do that before she get busy and that girl will be one that really excited.

She steps out from the house and notice Ryouhei just arrives in front of his home. He asks, “She’s already asleep?”

“Yeah, after mumble something…” Rin doesn’t know what she wants to say as her mind keep remember about that day.

Ryouhei unlock his house’s door and say, “You know…. You shouldn’t just make sudden decision to end relationship with Keitarou without any solid excuse. That guy just too nice and he are in deep sorrow by now.”

“Just take care of Aria-chan and stay out from my business!” Rin say in anger before dashes to her house. She doesn’t want to have more talk about that matter anymore or her resolution may waver.

Ryouhei get into the house and wonder why that girl would lose temper with him. He couldn’t hide his curious to know why Rin become so cold after they get into high school even they always spend time together as kids. He takes out some drinks since his throat really dry at that moment.

He switches on the TV and watches random show on TV but it seems his focus flying away. He knows what happen on that villa since it is really hard to forget it. He knows about both of the girls always has crush on him since they were kids but he just want to focus on his works.

He checks his phone to see if any new mails regarding works or other things. He notice picture of him and Aria on the day of their trip. He doesn’t want to hurt Aria’s feeling but something inside him that make he doubt his decision.

He get phone call from his manager about his upcoming job. At the end of phone call, his manager warns him, “I hope you will be more alert since there are rumours about you’re in relationship with one of your childhood friends. I know you really care about her and you should be more careful.”

“I know…” he surprise when hear manager says, “… just don’t let me hear about you like what happen to Keitarou.”

“How you know about that?” ask Ryouhei.

“Unexpectedly, there are eyes and ear around you that you can’t see.” his manager reminds him before put end to the phone call.

Aria wakes up with headaches and could easily guess what she has done without even try to remember it, “Ah! I did it again!”

She holds her head to support it and search for her phone as she knows she needs to check the time. She surprise when it already late for her job and quickly make phone call to shop manager but the reply that she get, “You can rest at home today as Rin-sama already tell us about you.”

“I can’t do that… or mom will get angry with me. I already promise her not to skip job anymore.” Aria grumbles despite her hangover.

“You’re not condition to go for work today and you have enough staff for today. You can just take it easy for the day.” the manager abruptly ends the phone call after that.

Aria want to move around but it seem this time, she drink something that too strong that make her could move. She hears bell rings and she just shouts, “Just get in if you know how!”

The door open to show it is Rin and she says, “It seems you still hangover.”

“You already know…” whine Aria. She slump herself to the couch as she can’t stable herself while standing.

Rin lift up her hand to show plastic bag in her hand and says, “I bought something for your hangover.”

“Gomen ne, you must be busy right now…” Aria sound really depresses.

“It’s okay since I have off for few days and I want to tell you something when you recover.” Say Rin.

Aria becomes curios to know what her best friend wants to say and turn to him. She says, “You have to tell me first about that!”

“Just let me serve you this and we will talk over meal.” Say Rin. She go to the kitchen and transfer everything to the dishes and serve on the short table in front of the TV.

Aria pouts as she really wants to know what her best friend wants to tell her but Rin only tell her when they begin eating their meal, “I will go to Seoul next month to continue my studies on art performing.”

Aria shocks to hear that sudden announcement and whines, “Is that for real!? You should tell me earlier about that! We should plan a party to celebrate it as your dream to go there has come true!”

“I only go there for short period and will return soon.” Say Rin. She explains everything that her childhood friend needs to know to avoid that girl do anything unnecessary.

Ryouhei couldn’t meet with those two girls as he already gets warning from his manager plus he’s really busy with his works. The only thing he can do is exchange short mails and he mostly talk about their business. He seems really hard to concentrate on works that make he has to take short breaks between.

The fabrics that he order with Aria’s kimono shop already arrive but when he ask to the person who send those items here and the reply he gets, “Aria ojou-sama take short break because madam ask her to. That’s why I send these alone even she should join since she’s the one who handle this.”

“I see…” Ryouhei could only reply that.

The day of first show is just around the corner but he still don’t know if Aria is allow to watch it with what happen. Hiro snaps him back to reality, “Hey, we should begin practice for this song’s dance right now.”

“Y-yeah… we will begin now…” shutter Ryouhei.

Keitarou asks, “Are you okay?” he could see that guy losing focus and quite worry as he knows that guy is a perfectionist when come to his works.

“Yeah, I’m okay.” Say Ryouhei.

“Yatta, we will watch them live today~!” Aria really happy as that day, they will go to watch his concert; something that she always want to do.

“It must hard for both of you; can’t meet or even talk on phone. Your mom even asks you to take short break from work because she asks you to help me to make preparation.” Rin couldn’t thank that girl more as there are few things that she confuse and only manage with some help.

“Of course since she want me to make sure you get everything perfect before you go to Seoul. Don’t you forget that you’re also her daughter?” Say Aria as she fixes her hair. She’s happy that she can wear something other than kimono on that day even her mom actually want her to wear one.

Both of them have to go there by taking taxi to avoid anyone notice the car since Ryouhei has borrowed hers for few times and few fans has post it online. They could easily mingle with other fans as they are also FLY’s fans. Aria gets short mail from Ryouhei, ‘You girls already arrive?’

‘Yeah, we’re waiting for doors to open. Good luck for the concert.’

“What are you doing?” ask Rin.

Aria put away her phone and says, “Just telling him that we’re here.”

“Just be extra careful since everyone really sensitive about that matter and we don’t want you to get hurt.” Remind Rin. She even wear disguise to avoid other people recognize her is among them on that moment.

Their attention being grab by a staff announce about the door will be open in for another few minutes. Aria really excited about the moment that she will watch her favourite group and her lover’s concert. She says, “I wonder what kind of stage that they will show to us.”

Keitarou notice Ryouhei smiles after watch him read something through his phone. He want to say something to him but Hiro calls him as they need to discuss about one part of the concert that include band. He couldn’t forget about the talk between him with Ryouhei and another time with Aria.

When the concert begin, he could easily found where the girls seat but a bit sad when Rin totally avoid looking at him. He only hopes both of them could stay as friends but things too hurtful for both side on that day. He takes a moment to hold his emotion to continue give all of his best for the show.

Aria notices his glance and happily says, “Wow, Keitarou-kun is looking towards here. We’re really lucky.”

“Maybe he notices his fans here.” Reply Rin, bluntly.

Aria knows that girl only there to watch FLY concert because she has to accompany her. Through halfway the concert, she lightly nudges Rin to tell, “Ne, I think I couldn’t stand with the noise anymore. Do you want to get out?”

“Eh?! It is okay for you? You’re really looking forward for this.” Rin shocks to hear that.

Aria nods, “Yes, I could feel my head begin spinning and I feel like want to throw out plus you need to get some rest before get to your flight. You plan to go straight to airport after this, right?”

Rin feel a bit guilty to agree with her best friend’s idea as she knows that girl know that she’s actually doesn’t want to watch the concert. She agrees with that and both of them leave the venue. While they in the taxi, she says, “You don’t have to send me if you don’t feel really good.”

“I want to send you because…” Aria hugs her, “…I want to see your face until you get on plane as I will be super lonely after this.”

Rin giggles to hear that and she says, “You better get some rest as I’m not in mood to help you to clean up any puke.”

Ryouhei checks his phone after concert ends since he realize those girls missing half-way of the concert. He get short mail from Aria’s number but it seem it is it being sent by Rin, ‘We have to leave first as Aria-chan not feeling good.’

“Mail from your childhood friends?” ask Yuuma.

Ryouhei casually reply, “Yeah, it seems they leave early because of one of them not feeling good. I hope she will be okay or I will get roast by her mom. I already promise to make sure she always okay.”

“It must be hard for you to do that. If anything happen to them, her mom will attack you first.” Hiro playfully say that to tease that guy. They could only kill the time with various things until reach the time to leave the concert venue.

While inside the car, Keitarou show short mail from Rin to Ryouhei, ‘I’m going to Seoul today and I wish best of luck to you.’ He asks, “You know about this?”

Ryouhei denies that and says, “I don’t know about this but when think back… Aria-chan has taken leave from work. Maybe she did that to help Rin-chan but why Seoul?”

“I remember she talks about opportunity to join short studies there but only once and then, she never touches that topic anymore. I thought she doesn’t want to accept the offer.” Keitarou say that as he can’t believe that girl is leaving the country that fast.

“If only we could meet them easily…” Ryouhei knows those girls will be in deep trouble if people realize their relationship, other than being childhood friends. Fangirls could be both blessing and nightmare that force them to be careful especially when they has some kind of suspicious on them.

Flight from Narita to Seoul doesn’t take really long duration as Rin doesn’t really feel like she’s flying. When reach there, she grab her luggage and search for person who will fetch her there. She notices someone hold board with her name and she introduce herself to that person, “I’m Rin.”

“Welcome to Seoul, Rin. I’m your chaperone while you’re here and the name’s Mira. You can ask anything that you don’t understand to me.” Introduce Mira with sweet smile on her face.

“Your Japanese sounds really fluent.” Rin a bit worry about language barrier since she not really confident with her Hangul.

“I was born and raised at Japan before move here. You must be really tired and let’s go to your new hostel where you will stay.” Say Mira.

Rin deeply hope she could adapt with that place as she won’t have her best friend at her side. While on the way, she learns that Mira also join same studies with her and they will stay in same dormitory.

Ryouhei decide to make stop at Aria’s house as he has been wondering why those girls hide that matter from him when three of them are childhood. He carefully checks around before ring the bell and waits for it to open.

“Ryo-chan, why you’re here? You should be resting by now. You still have work tomorrow, right?” Aria clearly really surprise when see that guy in front of her house as she’s actually waiting for her sister to send something to her.

Ryouhei gives sign that they need to have a talk inside the house and that girl gives space for her to get in. He asks, “Why you never tell me about Rin’s departure to Seoul?”

Aria gasps to hear that question and cast her sight to the ground as she already predict that guy would ask that. She tries to give out proper-yet-vague answer, “She… just need some space after what happen and it is a great chance for her to expand her skill. You know how hard she has been working hard to get what she has nowadays.”

“I know but you know how I really hate to be left out but it seems both you and Rin-chan keep doing that these past few days.” Ryouhei tries to hold down his disappointment.

“Left out? You should consider yourself lucky because you have everything… everything that people ever wish but it really hard to believe that you have to forget certain things in order not to lose what you already achieve. Your fans will not happy if he knows you are hanging-out with girls for few times.” Say Aria with broken voice at some parts. She regrets to say that out loud but it already too late to take it back

“Stop being an angel! Just admit that you’re jealous! You don’t have what I have!” Ryouhei accidentally explode.

Aria surprise to hear that and push Ryouhei to leave the house while saying, “You better leave right now or things will just get worse and for your information, yes, I always jealous with what you have.”

That moment, Ryouhei realize that he just say something that totally hurt that girl’s feeling but when he want to fix things up, door bang at his face. He wants to knock the door but someone walking towards the house that make he has to leave there. He totally regret with his words as that happen within his subconscious.
