Volume I: Chapter 11: Building your Own Empire

"Is it ready?" asked the first prince.

"Not just yet," a woman said.

Before ascending to the throne, Emperor William was a researcher who traversed the world in pursuit of power and to colonize lands.

When he saw the rare item that he discovered, the first prince reacted, "Sweet."

The main plan is to subjugate everyone who despises the emperor, but this is not just about those who reside within the empire. There is no relationship between the outside and the inside. Yet he is, nevertheless, willing to go farther.

The first prince asks Lady Sylvia about her business, saying, "So how does it go?" and vice versa.

"The whole production of metal weapons is at its peak and the recruitment which is held in secret is now at its peak as well" she stated.

She glances at the piece of art before her and gives the prince a sardonic complement. "You're insane."

He just acknowledged and grinned.

"Did you know that you're going to risk a lot of lives just to attain this?" she responded.

"Yes," he said confidently.

The term "unconquerable lands" refers to other territories that are outside of the empire. The existence of the 12 eternal threaders is the reason why the previous emperor was unable to conquer the whole world.

His goal is to take these 12 eternal threaders to be enemies of the empire.

A few months after the preparation, the first prince sailed the vast sea to look for a potential enemy for his brother and with the use of his father's last trace of information which regards the eternal threaders.

He began his quest.

Days went by, then weeks and months, but nothing happened until they came under an unexpected attack by sea pirates. After a battle, they encountered Seda, the voyager king, at the point of defeat. The murderer and blade threader.

Prince Howard introduces his plea to him, which he declines first. Everything seems hopeless up until the first prince hits his interest. He brought up the second prince of the empire, the owner of Whispering Paradox.

Bloodthirst suddenly arises.

Seda demanded to see the threader, whom he fought, and brought seething excitement into his blood and chills to his bones.

The assassin prince, the toy weapon of his father.

"This is a chance to see you again," he said with a big grin on his face.

Anything to get to see him once more. Ferocious obsession and rage, Elation and reverence. Unfathomable happiness that brings joy that makes this eternal threader live his immortal life joyfully.

"I am in love with you emperor," he said. The statement sounds insane for someone who is straight.

To his lord, the first prince butler said, "Seems like he doesn't know?"

When Evan reached his 23rd birthday he started to live his life tamed and peacefully which made him more suitable for the throne however his long connections are not dead. Everything that made him infamous is still alive and breathing.

The first prince interrupts with Seda's self-celebration.

"I would like to stop you're fancy but instead of heading back. I would like to take this opportunity to track down the vassals that I may need," Prince Howard said with a grin on his face, using the luck and the triumphant card he have in fornt of him.

Seda's countenance went from an ecstatic smile to a carefree smirk, "Of course."

All at once the ship of the first prince with the pirate ships of the eternal threader Seda, sailed in the direction that his father's notes were directing and even more with the instruction of the Voyager King, Seda.

Led them to something that wasn't even discovered by the previous emperor.

Days transition into nights, and nights into days, all while the passengers whine that they seem to be traveling in circles. They began to question Seda, the chief pirate, who was having a conversation with the empire's first prince. Instead of giving them accurate answers, he conceals it under silence. Giving them a grin that makes no sense to anyone. After three days, the first prince's subordinates began to protest even more than they had in the days before.

He emphasized, "IT IS A SECRET PASSAGE!" He chastised, "IT WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN A SECRET IF IT CAN BE EASILY FOUND!" which made everyone agitated in disbelief.

The first prince walks inside his chamber and settles into his reclined couch. Jonathan, his butler, tends to him and brings him any refreshments he might need.

He continued, "You have been close to the Pirate King," but as he finished speaking, the glass that the first prince was holding flew past him, hitting the wall.

"We talk about the empire," as though he was shedding it out to his beloved loyal butler.

Jonathan lowered his head confused about what might offend his master again. Until Prince Howard continued his narration.

"Our topic is the empire, my father, and the accomplishment and fame that had gone through the years but do you know what pisses me off?" He responded.

With profound disgust, he stated, "He talks about that bastard like he was the best part of the empire."

Jonathan looked inquiringly, "Is that bastard, the second prince?"

"And who else would it be?" he exclaimed, getting to his feet and slamming the comfort room door.

Jonathan was silenced.

The jealousy seething in the first prince's heart that he tries hard to hide is uncontainable. When it is too much for him to handle he explodes like a ticking bomb.

Jonathan averted his gaze to convey his concern.

Jonathan looked away to express his worry.

The first prince's health is slowly deteriorating due to his psychological and emotional state. It has an adverse effect that he is unable to dispute.

He is his loyal dog and an older brother to him yet he can do nothing to ever save his master from the hatred that he harbors within.

He closed his eyes and mumbled, "I hope this foolishness stops killing you slowly, sire."

A few minutes later, a massive wave nearly threw the ships over, shocking everyone.

They left like ants fleeing an outside attack on their anthill.

At their location, the sound of the warning bell rang out. They are being carried toward the center by the ocean's circular current towards a huge hole sipping all the water inside.

The alarm seems out of control echoing together simultaneously with the whining of the people. The sky is completely dark such as the surrounding area as well as the middle of the ocean that they are being dragged upon.

The thunder and waves are in chaos and no one can even imagine a way of survival for them. The lightning never stops, striking everything in its path and it's like it was targeting them with such a few playful misses.

The wind sweeps toward them like it holds a huge grudge against their invasion.

Memories of bliss no longer linger in their minds.

Amidst the disarray and terror, there was a lot of laughter.

It came from Captain Seda, who was perched on the rope and keeping an eye on things from the edge of the deck.

He exclaimed like an insane folk, "I can't believe I am here to see you again!"

Captured by the immense chaos they could not stand, the prince's people questioned, "Did you bring us here just to die?"

Nevertheless, Seda looked ahead and carried on with his bizarre monologue rather than paying attention and answering.

He yelled from the dept of his lungs, "The Threader of Destruction and Death!"

When the first prince heard his statement he was dumbfounded in awe that there was such a thing that he never knew. The previous emperor never brought him on any of his expeditions, not even once.

So these are the things that his brother, the second prince encountered when they were both away to conquer territories.

There he found a fragile sleeping little girl.
