Little Boy
After they all sat or laid down from exhaustion, which took a long time let me tell you
They almost caught me 5 TIMES!?!?
They are faster then you would think
I didn't even think it was humanly possible to run that fast until I saw these people running
They were faster then.... then CARS!!!!!
I swear I'm not joking
But what surprises me more is my speed I'm fast as hell!!?!?!?!?!
I wasn't this fast a few days ago!!
As I look at everyone though I know the once gloomy mood that I hadn't even realize had been in the air had vanished and some of the knights were even laughing even hunter
Everyone seems more talkative and happy
After rolling around a bit more in the grass I walk over to hunter and sit down
At that moment everything went silent
Everyone who was chasing after me before just looked straight at me as though I was the most shameless person on the planet
Well.... I guess I could see where they were coming from.... I did make them chase me and pretended a few times I was gonna bite or scratch them to make them not catch me...
But it's not my fault I just wanted to have fun
With that thought I lifted my head in pride and smiled a big teeth baring smile as my tail wagged behind me
Although the smell of flowers is making my noise go into overdrive I didn't show it so after sitting in the prairie with everyone for a few more minutes we went back to the horses and I went back to that stupid bag
Ugh I swear this bag smells like something... but I can't put my finger on it
After dozing off again I only wake up when I feel someone poking me in the face while changing my facial expressions with their hands
I quickly growled at them and got out of the bag that was now on the floor
It looks like we finally made it to a town
I see the person who was poking me was only slightly taller then me he looked like a five year old boy I notice he has bruises and infected and normal cuts... he also was not wearing... the best clothes I've seen by far sense I've got here
he looks worse then any child his age should look
I quickly change my way towards him and start licking his dirty face
He starts giggling and tries to get me to stop as he continues laughing
I stop after a few seconds and quickly snuggled my head against his chest
He starts petting me while he starts sitting down
I follow and lay down so my head and paws are on his lap
He continues giggling while petting me
"FLUFFY PUPPY!" He keeps saying between giggles
After a while of petting he picks me up with as much as he can with his strength and hugs me as hard as he can
While hugging me his eyes start turning red and starts sniffing back his snot before breaking out into tears
I just lick all his tears away until he starts giggling between tears while crying his last few tears
After I stopped he continued petting me until he got into a laying position and laid his head on my stomach
It's night time so he fell asleep after laying against me for a few minutes
It took about ten minutes after he fell asleep for hunter to come back he looked happy but once he saw the boy laying on me he looked confused and maybe even a bit annoyed?
Once he was close enough and was about to shake the boy awake
I glared at him and growled with my teeth sticking out
He looked surprised but just ended up sitting a few inches away staring at the kid
He sighs a few minutes later looks at me and asks with annoyance clearly in his tone
" do you want him to come with us"
I look at him in bewilderment for a moment before rapidly shaking my head yes
Hunter sighs again and holds his head in his hands in agitation
After a moment he gets up and slowly picks up the boy which this time I don't get mad at
" Come on you fool we found an inn that allows animals and I guess I can bring your... little friend"
As he walks I just walk beside him staring at his face in happiness until we get to the inn...
