Chapter 2

I realized by the time I had stopped thinking, the limo had stopped and the Queen was sitting next to me. I sat up as the door on my right opened, a guardsman stood there and took the queen's hand as she stepped out. I stood and got out on my own. We were in front of a great grand castle, it was a light grey with pyramid hip roofs and tall towers and turrets everywhere. I noticed the security as expected to be, impeccable. The Queen suddenly grabbed my hand and pulled me to the door as the doors swung open. We were greeted by a tall man, a bit older than me, maybe in his late 20's. The Queen went and kissed him and the man eyed me. I bowed when I saw the glorious robe he was wearing. The Queen looked to me and laughed,

"Get up child, there will not be any of that here-"

"No." The king interrupted her, "go ahead. I like it." My stomach dropped as his face twisted into a smile. The Queen snapped,

"I'll show her to her chambers." The Queen pulled me up and down a hallway. I walked behind her when she pulled me next to her. Why was she acting like this, I was below her, I wasn't her friend. The Queen smiled at me before pulling me up some stairs and into a room.

"I will send for some maids to take your measurements." She smiled.

The room was not at all what I was used to, it didn't have a cot but instead a king sized bed and everything in the room was so vibrant. I couldn't believe my eyes! I'd never seen these colors before, it was euphoric. She squeezed my hand and looked to me,

"Do you like it, Allie?" She smiled. I looked at her and nodded while doing my best smile. She jumped and hugged me as my eyes went wide. What was she doing?! She looked at me and smiled,

"I'm so happy!" She said. My stomach churned again. Why? The only reason she would be happy is if I was some pet to her, that or maybe she was stupid and thought I was a friend. You can't buy real friends, even children know that. She kicked the door closed and pressed her soft lips on mine and slid her tongue in my mouth. My body revolted against what I was telling it to do. I couldn't help but kiss back as her tongue explored my mouth. My brain went foggy for a few minutes until she stopped, and kissed my cheek. She patted my head and left the room. I fell onto the floor and cried so hard to where my hands were damp and my eyes were puffy and red.
