A THOUSAND-YEAR OLD HAG

Hana woke up from her dream and found that the day was just breaking. The faint light of the sun rise brought the dawn and she felt hopeful for some reason.

This time, she clearly remembers the whole conversation she had with the Hana in her dream.

She climbed down of her bed and went to the bathroom to brush her teeth and wash her face. After her morning routine, she went downstairs to drink a glass of warm milk. Her parents weren't awake yet but Adam was already making faint noises in the kitchen.

"Ares!" Hana called his real name which startled him. The ladle that he was holding to stir the soup he was making fell on the floor, making a clanking sound.

"God, Hana! That scares me. Stop calling me that name."

"Why not? Isn't it great? I like this name the best."

"Well, thanks for liking it but you can't call me with that name."

"Tell me why."

"Because it will put us in danger."
