A STRANGE MAN

"Relationship with me?" Hana questioned with faint laughter. "There's no need to build our relationship. We're friends already."

Jacob was also glaring at his niece. He was keeping his feelings from Hana and here she was, intentionally making a 'slip of the tongue'. He was even kicking his niece's leg under the table but Victoria ignored him like he didn't exist there.

"I still want to be with you two." Victoria told them once again. "Can't I stay here a little bit longer? I mean, my father won't be running away again, right? There will be a lot of time for us to catch with each other. However, you have so little time left in this world. I want to be with you."

Hana chuckled and caressed the girl's face. "You sound like a man who's madly in love with me."

"I don't care. I'm just being honest." She even crossed her arms over her chest and rolled her eyes towards her uncle. "Unlike a certain someone who's afraid of letting his feelings be known."
