"AHHh!" Daisy screamed and her towel, the only thing wrapped around her fair-skinned body, almost fell when Victor barged in uninvited.
"Ahhhh!" Victor shouted too and went frozen stiff in his tracks while his face turned red as he laid his eyes on Daisy's flawless legs. This was the first he saw those long and candle-shaped legs.
Daisy never wore skimpy skirts or a pair of teeny-weeny short pants because her old-fashioned parents would never allow her so. Her usual attire was either a pair of square pants or jeans with a decent shirt on top. So, the lovely scene in front of him was really tempting. It sizzled his body up and almost burst into flames while his little brother stood on ends.
"Victor, get out of my room now." Daisy shouted. Her face also turned red and felt embarrassed when she saw where he was gawking at.
"Okay." His mouth replied but his body didn't move. Rather, he stared at her stupidly.
This infuriated Daisy and picked up the pillow, lunging it bullseye on Victor's gaping face.
However, Victor caught the pillow with ease before it hit him. That pillow woke him up and fled the room with it. Outside her door, he smiled silly while embracing the sweet smelling pillow.
He was like this for a time but suddenly shook his head, realizing how stupid he was. His shoulder sagged. "Darn, I was acting like a stalker. Damn it. I lost my cool there."
"Hey! Give me back my pillow," Daisy yelled inside. "But don't you dare come in or peek inside or I swear I'll make you suffer."
Victor sighed. With his back on the door, he opened it and threw the pillow in.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to…" His voice trailed as the image of her lovely legs flashed back in his mind, making him blush again. He shook his head again and diverted his thoughts. "Come down when you're done changing. Eat your breakfast while it's still hot."
He didn't wait for her reply and ran down, while trying to erase the arousing image from his brain.
Minutes passed and he heard Daisy's steps hurried down the stairs. As she reached the kitchen, she pulled her plate full of red chorizos and a sunny-side up egg on top of a cup-shaped mound of rice, and a glass of juice.
"Thanks," she said without looking at him and scurried away in a flash.
Victor snickered, watching her running back. "What a way to start our day." He told himself and ate his sandwich of two slices of bread with egg.
Inside her room, Daisy devoured her food in a jiffy while staring at the system screen.

"Man, this system is getting weirder by the minute but it makes sense as well. No point in complaining. Let's get on with it while we're at it. Wall push-ups, curling, jogging?" Her lips curved up. "No sweat. I'll finish this soon before opening my shop."
Wearing a pink sweatshirt and jogging pants, Daisy jogged at the long sandy beach outside their back porch.
Two hours passed. Brrrrng! The system rang.
[Alarm! (Running) 5km Completed (5/5)]
She halted from running around their beachline. Her hands on her waists, she exhaled and inhaled heavily. Her footsteps on the black sand were indescribable, showing she didn't go far.
"Four more to go. I can do this." she told herself, and went to the next tasks.
-----
Three hours had passed since she started.
[Daily Task: Stay fit and healthy

Congratulations on completing the daily task. You may choose one of the rewards below.

She saw that reward 1 was the only one glowing and with options. So, she pressed accept. In that instant, she felt a minute electrocution in her body. As it stopped, she no longer felt tired but refreshed. Her breathing and pulse was back to normal. Her face showed a wide grin, excited to learn more about the system.
While sitting at the porch, she noticed a book icon on the upper part of the panel. She tapped it and a skill and inventory panel popped out. But there was only one item in there, a water bottle. She clicked it.
[Water bottle: Contains sacred water from the hidden ancient spirit streams. It heals one from fatigue.
Storage: 100]
Her grin grew wider and thought of tasting. She readied a finger to tap it… but didn't.
"I'll save it for later." She smiled and swapped the screen left. The system monitor vanished.
After changing into her usual clothes, she went to the kitchen and saw a peanut butter sandwich and cold lemonade sitting on top of the countertop. She sighed and contentedly beamed, knowing Victor prepared it for her in advance.
"What a thoughtful guy." And thought of thanking him, though still annoyed with his sudden entrance this morning.
"Hixa, where's Victor?"
"Miss Daisy, Victor is in the garden."
"Thank you, Hixa."
"Welcome, Miss Daisy." Daisy hurried to the house garden at the side of the house.
There, she saw Victor wearing his virtual headphones while his hands were busy clamping a garden scissor trimming a bush into a circle.
She approached and tapped his shoulder. He jerked his head back and saw her.
"Thanks for the snacks," she said, waving the last of the sandwich and plunged it in her heart-shaped lips.
He loved watching those red lips but looked away to brush off the tempting scene replaying in his mind.
"Uhm." He only nodded and continued with his task.
"What is it like to be the greatest inventor, Victor?" Daisy said as she sat on a wooden chair.
"Why do you ask?" Victor grinned after finishing a bush and moved to the next.
"Just a random question." Daisy said as she hand-combed her hair and tied it with a red ribbon clip into a ponytail at the back of her head.
He always loved to watch her tie her black hair up. Although her father was German, she got most of her features from her mother's side. Her hair was straight, jet black unlike her father's curly blond. Her complexion was light brown. Only her eyes that had that shade of gray that would give her away to have a mixed blood.
"I think that will be awesome. To invent something that is out of this world and surpasses all types of inventions is being a greatest inventor for me." Victor said with arms wide open and delight on his face.
Daisy could clearly see Victor's life-goal in those words. "Such a nice dream, isn't it?"
"Yup."
"Okay, thanks for the answer. Have you heard anything from Mom and Dad?"
"Nothing so far." He said, shaking his head.
She heaved a deep sigh. "Can you, please, call the research lab and ask if they heard anything from them. Ask for the number and where they are staying much better. Gotta open my shop now."
"I'll try my best. It's still the holidays. Rest for now."
"That's the point. Households will need the cleaning robots while still having a hangover from their drinkings and late night feasting. This is the best time for money-making." She laughed, rubbing two fingers together in the air.
She walked into her shop just right in front of their house. "Hixa, open shop."
Instantly, the black glass windows shone and became transparent for passersby to see the displayed robots in different sizes and shapes inside. Every corner of the shop was squeaky clean.
