The reddish mist accumulated in heavy clouds that precipitated in hot, acidic droplets. Changes on the planet were not just caused by world war, but climate change. The symptoms caused by pollution and the inhospitable invasive atmosphere, replacing the usual one, ranged from dizziness, nausea, to diarrhea, fever, convulsions and hemorrhages in the most serious cases.

Our warriors, allies of the Nerus, crawled in trenches, bruised and cold. With each passing day their hopes were violently swept away as were the bodies of the dead.
