A bit you might want to know about the pace;
Asher is a very unlucky protagonist. So even ten chapters in he will still struggle greatly to survive. The tag says overpowered protagonist and that is true, it won't happen for a bit though, he still has to suffer a bit while getting stronger, a fantasy world isn't all it's cracked up to be after all.

The type of Necromancy practiced in Hungry Necromancer is a rather stable and balanced type of Necromancy, you'll eventually read up to parts where things are not so easily fixed with a horde of zombies and a very creepy ritual needs to be employed. 
As of chapter 80 things truly begin to get dire and desperate as Asher is faced with the consequences of his actions, bad deal making and even close approaching death and madness. 

And it ought to be so for a fiendish Warlock practicing such a dark magical art as Necromancy.

Hungry Necromancer

We made out for it early once I was all done. The carriage was packed, Kaylin had been briefed and given all she needed to control Aren and the Elven North while we were away.

We also alerted the guards to our absence, just in case they get mischievous- I know they don't feel right with a nobody looking person like me living here.

The only outstanding matter that needed to be resolved happened to be the visit we've been expecting from Audwin and the boys. Although, it's nearly been a week since he left to relay the message the Matron gave him, I don't think he'll be making an appearance with the boys anytime soon.

Although, in preparation for the unexpected, Anselm wrote a rather long note for Mevir.

As we trotted away with Kaylin waving and screaming for souvenirs, I couldn't help but get filled with anticipation once more. It's been a while since we hustled off to a new place.
