It's Oliver's fault

A phone ring broke the awkward moment of the ward.

Sam picked up his phone and stood in front of the window looking outside. He looked really lonely from the back at that moment. He didn't talk much just said a few words and then hung up.

"Sam, is everything alright?" Ava could see that Sam's face was not looking good, something must have happened.

"My grandmother is in the hospital. I have to go right now." Sam said with a heavy face.

Ava frowned slightly and said, "Then what are you waiting for? Go quickly."

Sam was a little hesitant because Ava was so weak. He couldn't bear to leave her here alone. But his grandmother's condition was getting worse. He really needed to go. He was in dilemma.

"Sam are you worried about me? Please don't be, I work here I know everyone besides I will call my friend to drop me home. Come on don't wait any longer." Ava could see through his hesitation clearly.

"OK." Sam nodded. Before he left, he said, "When you get home, please inform me otherwise I will worry about you."

"OK," Ava said lightly.

Sam left and Ava breathed a sigh of relief. She felt very distressed. How did her life become so complicated suddenly? Thinking about the mess Ava remembered that she didn't inform Oliver that she was in the hospital so she picked up her phone to dial Oliver's number. However before she could call him, his call came first.

"Where are you? Why aren't you home yet?" As usual, Oliver was angry. This woman was really becoming more and more unrestrained. She often complains that she didn't have any freedom yet she always does what she wanted and would always come home late. With such a rebellious woman Oliver felt a headache.

"I'm at the hospital," Ava said slowly.

"Why? Aren't you on leave?" Oliver asked confused. He asked leave of absence for her then why did she go to the hospital? She couldn't stay idle, could she?

"Actually I had a heatstroke this morning and I fainted, so the doctor gave me an infusion and because of that, the whole noon I had to stay at the hospital," Ava explained clearly. She knew if she didn't he would get angry again but that was not the reason why she wanted to explain to him. She just wanted to tell him.

"Which hospital? I'll be right here." Oliver frowned slightly and said in a serious tone.

"Beijing Tiantan Hospital, ward 305, third floor, outpatient department."

As soon as Ava said that she heard a busy tone from the other end, Oliver already hung up.

Oliver had installed a tracker on Ava's phone, but recently he found that it didn't show her correct location and keep changing the location every second. He didn't know what was wrong with it. He wasn't concern about it till now because Ava was by his side most of the time or in the hospital. But now he felt he should get Ava a cell phone with the high-tech tracker in case of any emergency, Oliver would feel at ease knowing where Ava was.

"Uncle Joe, please help me with the meeting this afternoon, I won't be able to attend it. You do it for me. And customize two pairs of couple's phones for me from Germany, the kind that has a high-tech tracker in it." Oliver got up and started to wrap up his things.

Oliver heard about this couple's phone from Arvin. His fiancée got one for him, at first he thought the phone was pretty cool, however later he found out it got a tracker in it which reported his every location to his fiancée. Arvin got furious when he learned that and he just smashed the 60000 dollar phone and broke it in front of his fiancé.

Oliver was confident with Ava's IQ, she wouldn't be able to find out the tracker in it.

Uncle Joe smiled lightly and asked, "Where is CEO Knight going?"

"To play." Oliver gave a ruffian smile.

Uncle Joe shook his head helplessly. He was the only one who witnessed the changes in Oliver after he met Ava. He was not the same cold-blooded CEO anymore. These days Oliver often smiles and looks tenderly like he used to before the accident. Uncle Joe was happy for him and prayed that when the truths revealed they both could take the blow.

"I wish CEO Knight a good time."

"The meeting will be all yours." Saying that Oliver left.

At the thought of the meeting, Uncle Joe felt a headache was coming. He had been holding too many meetings for Oliver these days that the Shareholders were wondering if Oliver was always out of the country. How could he tell everyone that the CEO was busy with the beauty?

Beijing Tiantan Hospital

"How did you get a heatstroke?" Oliver asked in his domineering voice. He stood in front of the hospital bed and looked at her carefully, she looked so weak and tired.

Ava was sitting in the bed. "I... I had plans with Sarah but she canceled and I didn't want to go home so I went to the school for a walk. I guess I was standing under the direct sun for too long and got a heat stroke." Ava didn't want to lie to him because she was afraid he will find out but she couldn't tell him about Jacob either, he would be furious if he knew that. So she told him the truth but without revealing everything.

Oliver looked at the women helplessly. He was angry but looking at the woman in front of him who looked half-dead at that moment he decided to let it go. "If you can't handle it then don't go outside, and pay more attention to your body. If you get heatstroke again, I'll make you stay at home." Oliver warned coldly.

"Actually these days I feel very tired, I guess I don't get enough sleep and that's why I became this weak and had a heatstroke." Ava stole a glance at him when she said that.

Oliver looked at her and thought to himself, was it because of him she was so tired? Of course, he could see that she had become thinner than before. But she couldn't blame him, it's true that almost every night he took her and could not let go until dawn but she always has trouble sleeping anyway. She often has restless nights and ends up having nightmares.

"Are you blaming me for your lack of sleep? Am I responsible for your restless nights? Who told you not to sleep more in the morning?" Oliver said faintly.

"Well, it's true that you don't let me sleep at night and no matter how long I sleep in the morning it won't cover for night sleeps," Ava said pouting.

Oliver understood what she was trying to say, he sat down on the bed beside her. He stroked her hair with his right hand and pinched her chin with his left hand then in a low voice he asked with a smiled, "So, are you blaming me?"
