Who would dare to ask Oliver this question in some other times? In fact, if it wasn't the game rule and they didn't team up against Arvin, he wouldn't have asked him this question either.
Although Ava was always curious about this question but she never had the courage to ask him. She just assumed that he had been with many women before her, after all, many women throw themselves to him willingly.
"Feb 14, 2020," Oliver said with an indifferent expression but he was looking at Ava.
This Valentine's day? Oliver's answer even stunned Arvin let alone the others in the living room. Ava's reaction was very interesting, at first she was was surprised then her face turned red upon realizing that she was his first too, it was unbelievable!
Ava was blushing so fiercely that now Erica and Arvin looked at each other in understanding.
"Did you two exchange your first time with each other on Feb 14th?" Arvin exposed them without any mercy, he obviously understood what was happening here by the way this couple was reacting.
Suddenly the atmosphere in the living room became cold to warm with lots of laughter. Arvin and Erica were lying on the floor laughing out loud holding their stomach.
Oliver was a man, he could not prove his innocence, so no one believed him. He was really pitiful, even though he was such a pure young man but everyone knew him as a womanizer.
Cough... "OK! No more games for today, we will play some other time." Oliver suddenly stood up, ready to see off the guests.
However, Erica and Arvin got comfortable on the sofa. Arvin said with a ruffian smile: "Oliver, if you want to do something to your girlfriend now I suggest you go upstairs to your bedroom, after all, it's not suitable for children. We will be here watching TV downstairs, we won't disturb you."
"Yes, yes, cousin, Go upstairs, I'll keep an eye on him for you." Erica and Arvin shook hands together to tease Oliver.
"You two single dogs, are you sure you won't regret it?" Oliver asked with a smirk, raising one of his eyebrows.
Arvin and Erica stood up together, they were indeed single of course they wouldn't stay and get tortured by the couple in front. They were just teasing him.
Erica said with a smile, "OK cousin, since that's the case, we better leave now. Ava I'll come back to see you some other day."
Ava waved and said: "OK, Bye."
After Arvin and Erica left, the living room suddenly became very quiet. Ava picked up the cards from the table and started to tidy up. Oliver suddenly turned to Ava, picked her up, and went straight to the second floor to their bedroom.
Ava didn't say anything she just stayed curled up in his strong chest. She was prepared for what was coming next but was actually surprised when Oliver put her on the sofa instead of the bed. She couldn't tell what was on his mind. She looked at his dark eyes and asked, "Oliver what you said earlier... was it really true?"
"What do you think, silly girl?" Oliver said in a very deep and low voice. If it wasn't for the game today, he wouldn't have told anyone about it. It's not like he was ashamed that his first time was with Ava, it's just he was a man and known as a womanizer so naturally, it was about his face.
"I... How do I know? " As Ava only slept with Oliver, she was not experienced enough to tell if he was telling the truth or not.
"Silly girl, why are you so stupid?" Oliver caressed Ava's cheek affectionately, there was an unknown emotion in his dark eyes.
Ava suddenly leaned on his chest and asked gently, "Oliver, how long will you love me?"
"How long do you want me to love you?" Oliver asked back his eyes and voice were very soft.
Ava raised her head and looked at him in the eye then said in a very low voice. "I hope it will be a long time."
"Ava, do you know sometimes I really wish I could turn back time. If I could then I wouldn't skip class and go to the USA. Instead, I would pursue you and maybe you would be my wife by now." Oliver's eyes looked gloomily at the distance, no one knew what he was thinking at that moment.
Oliver really wished Ava was the first woman he fell in love with, then he wouldn't have to suffer so much and wouldn't have to torture himself or hate Ava when the nightmares haunted him every night. Now, Oliver was confused and conflicted. He couldn't stop himself from falling in love with her, so how would he bear to hurt her? At the same time, he couldn't let go of the past either. His mind was in a mess.
"Oliver, I think heaven always sends the right person at the right time. You cannot force it." Ava said laughing very gently. She believed if they have met earlier then they wouldn't have fallen for each other as they did now.
"You are right, our meeting was destined and a gift from heaven," Oliver said firmly with a smile.
Although they couldn't erase their past but they could choose to keep it in the past and move on. Oliver had been looking for Ava for so many years yet he never found her. On Valentine's day, he was in a bad mood and went to the bar to get drunk, but unexpectedly ran into her. Wasn't meeting her destiny then? He sometimes wondered if fate was playing some kind of cruel game with him by making such a mess with his life.
Ava thought after devastatingly destroyed by her first love, it would take some time for her to get over it and fall in love again. She never expected to fall head over heels for a man like Oliver just after her break up but she also could not resist him, she could not ignore his kindness to her. They didn't even notice when they came so close to each other and started to take care of each other's feelings unconsciously.
The two of them got very emotional and just as Oliver leaned toward Ava to kiss her, Ava's cell phone started to ring. Oliver got very annoyed and thought he will have to make Ava switch off her phone when she was at home. He always put his phone on silent when he gets home in order to have some quality time with Ava and only checks his phone when she takes her bath. Looks like he has to make the same rule for her too, all phones should be switched off at home.
