Cleaning up the mess

Ava and Mia were talking in the office when Oliver walked in with a cold face but he looked at Ava full of concern.

"Ava!" Oliver's deep voice sounded loud in the quiet office.

Ava looked up surprised and thought how did he get here so fast, didn't he just called her a few minutes ago?

"Oliver!" Ava stood up and walked towards Oliver hurriedly. This was her office although most of her colleagues were out right now but Sylvia was here and she didn't want to talk to Oliver in front of her.

When Ava came to Oliver, he quickly squatted down to check her wound first. He clenched his fist when he saw her wounded leg. His handsome face looked very frightening at that moment.

It's been a long time since Ava saw Oliver this angry. His expression was deadly, Ava was scared that Oliver will lose his temper at any moment so she quickly squatted down and comforted him softly: "Oliver I'm fine, it's nothing."

Oliver looked at her and his deep eyes had a slight dissatisfaction in them. He asked her angrily, "Why didn't you call me?"

Ava could hear the blame in his tone, she whispered nervously: "I did not expect it to get out of hand like that."

Seeing her looking guilty Oliver sighed and calm down a little, he wasn't blaming her, he was just worried about her. "Does it hurt?" Oliver pulled Ava and stood up.

"No, it doesn't." Ava looked at Oliver and says lightly.

Ava took Oliver's hand and led him out of the office room. Holding each other's hand they came to a secluded corridor where they first met in this hospital.

"Why are you so stupid and why did you have a fight with her in the first place?" Oliver's handsome face was gloomy, he was already making plans how to clean up Amelia Taylor.

"Well, I went to buy a necklace, when I chose one and was about to pay, she came and wanted to take that. Then..." Ava saw Oliver's expression was getting darker, she stopped talking.

"And then what?" Oliver said gnashing his teeth.

"Then she tore the necklace and throw it in my face. I got angry, I picked up a bracelet and threw it which hit her nose. Later, she and her assistant wanted to beat me, so I put them on the ground. When I checked out and was about to leave the shop, she crawled over and scratched my calf." Ava said indifferently.

"Don't you know how to protect yourself? Why didn't you tell her that you were my girlfriend?" Although Oliver said it coldly but his eyes were full of heartache.

If Ava told Amelia that she was Oliver's girlfriend then she wouldn't dare to touch Ava. But Ava didn't say anything which was making Oliver angry and frustrated. It was a small matter of two people fighting over a necklace, if Ava told her identity today then the matter would be resolved by now. But Amelia didn't know who Ava was so she was using her public influence to ruin Ava's reputation and now things were getting out of hand.

"It's OK. It's just a small scratch, it will be OK in a week." Ava didn't take this matter seriously.

"Why you are like that? When will you start taking care of yourself? By the way, what were you doing at the jewelry store today?" Oliver asked puzzled.

Oliver knew Ava didn't like to wear jewelry, she only wore the pendant that Oliver gave her when he asked her out and she wasn't the type to shop into a jewelry shop randomly.

"Today is my friend's birthday so I went there to buy a gift for her," Ava explained.

Oliver looked at Ava amazed, she went shopping for someone else and fought with a celebrity. If it was another woman then by now she would cry and complain to Oliver and ask him to take care of Amelia for her, but Ava would never do that. She always liked to solve her own problems by herself.

Oliver sighed and hugged her affectionately then said lightly, "Leave it to me."

Listening to Oliver's steady heartbeat, Ava felt reassured. She believed he will be able to handle it, even if he didn't Ava wouldn't blame him, after all, Amelia was one of Knight International's top models. If she was fired then the company would also have to bear a heavy loss, Ava understood that well.

520 Haibin Road, Oliver's Villa.

Ava and Oliver were in the living room sitting on the couch. Oliver checked his microblog on his laptop and immediately called Uncle Joe.

"CEO Knight." Uncle Joe said without any expression.

"Uncle Joe, immediately remove everything regarding the video from the Weibo, I don't want to see that video, or any comments regarding it again," Oliver said coldly.

"Yes, CEO Knight." Uncle Joe hung up.

"Oliver, it's ok, I'm fine. Sooner or later the public opinion will pass." Ava said calmly, she wasn't worried about it at all, she didn't care what people thought about her.

"By the time the public opinion will pass your reputation will be ruined. You are my girlfriend Ava and your reputation is as important as my reputation." Oliver gave Ava a glance then went back on tapping the laptop in front of him.

Looking at Oliver so stressed over the issue Ava was regretting fighting with Amelia now. If she knew this matter would get so serious she would have let Amelia have the necklace. She didn't know why she got so angry and didn't want to let her have it. Probably because Amelia was associated with Oliver and that bothered her.
