The Water Park

The next day, at the water park.

The water park was near the Bohai Seawater bay. Since it opened it has already become a very popular resort in the city. It was surrounded by mountains and sea, with beautiful scenery. So a lot of people loved to come here to relax and have fun in the amusement park. Some even stay for a night or two to enjoy the night beauty and the quietness of the place. It was indeed a unique and pleasant environment. However, today the place looked deserted because CEO Knight had booked the whole place for himself.

Oliver and Ava came to the resort first. The staff enthusiastically welcomed them with flowers and fresh coconut water in hand. "Hello, Mr. Knight. Hello, Miss Green. Welcome to our park."

"Wow what a grand welcome!" Ava said in a low voice, although it was normal for Oliver but she was still not used to the VIP treatments.

"It's OK. Let's go inside and check it out first." Oliver held Ava's waist and said affectionately as he led her into the water park. Several staff members quickly followed behind and pointed the way for them.

A red convertible Ferrari stopped in front of the water park entrance which caught many onlooker's eyes on the way. Arvin stepped out of the car lazily. He was wearing a simple T-shirt and a pair of beach pants with a white loafer and a pair of expensive sunglasses. He had a typical dandy look.

"Mr. O'Neil, Mr. Knight has already arrived and gone inside. Please come in." A staff member said warmly.

"Is Miss Knight here?" Arvin asked indifferently in a deep voice.

"No, Miss Knight hasn't arrived yet."

Arvin nodded but didn't say anything else. He leaned on his car and waited for Erika. About five minutes later, a Shanghai Volkswagen appeared in front of the park. The windows were up so the people inside were not visible to outsiders. Arvin glanced at the car and looked away because he knew that was not Erika's car.

However, the next second a young handsome man with a built body came out of the driver's seat. He was very tall and was in casual clothes with a pair of black frame glasses over his nose. He got out and turned to the passenger's seat to open the door. His every action was gentle and considerate. Erika came out of the passenger's seat like a breeze wearing a red sleeveless t-shirt with white shorts.

Arvin stood there frozen staring at Erika, who was holding another man's arm and laughing happily. His face immediately darkened. He called Erika last night because he wanted to drive her to the resort but she refused him and said she will come by herself. Now she was here with another man holding hands. Arvin felt he was going to explode from anger.

Sam and Erika walked toward the entrance and that's when she noticed Arvin was standing there with a black face. She looked at him and give him a polite smile.

"Hi, Arvin!"

"Rika, who is this man?" Arvin stepped forward, narrowed his eyes, and asked coldly.

"Let me introduce him to you. His name is Samuel Evan. He is a good friend of mine." Erika was still holding Sam's arm.

"Hello." Arvin held his breath and pretended to be calm. He grew up with Erika he knew all her friends. So he couldn't understand, from where this good friend came from.

"Hello." Sam also greeted Arvin politely with a smile of a gentleman.

After the greetings Erika didn't waste any more time in there instead she pulled Sam's arm and went inside the park.

Looking at their leaving back Arvin wanted to punch Sam on the guts and ask him where the hell he came from! His mood was already ruined and at that moment a pink Limited Edition customized Bentley stopped at the parking lot of the water park. Arvin immediately recognized the car, this car was the only one piece available in this whole city and was a gift from his father to his fiancée.

The Bentley stopped and two women got out of the car gracefully. Jessica and Kiara, who was wearing the same chiffon long skirt but different colors. They were best friends from childhood and they had a very close relationship with each other. Last night, Kiara called her to ask if she wanted to accompany her to the park. Jessica was free so she immediately agreed.

When Arvin saw Jessica he instantly turned to leave because the last thing he wanted was to spend a day with her in the water park.

However, Kiara spotted Arvin and nudged Jessica who looked at the entrance and immediately saw him. She called out loudly, "Arvin!"

Arvin who was about to enter the park had no other choice but to stop. He turned and looked at her coldly, "What are you doing here?"

Jessica strode forward and snorted, "I am here to play but why are you here? Last night when I called and asked if you were free today, didn't you say you were busy and had some important meeting?"

Arvin felt a bit embarrassed because of getting busted like that however he still kept his cold attitude and said, "Of course I am busy. I have business with Oliver and he is here."

"In that case Let's go inside together." Jessica walked around Arvin and held his arm and took a step toward the park.

Kiara also followed behind, when they reached here she was worried about how to get inside but then she saw Arvin and knew her problem was solved, so she was very happy.

Arvin sighed helplessly in his heart. It's going to be a disaster today, Erika came with another man and now Jessica was also here with Kiara. It won't be fun when Ava and Kiara meet with each other.
