Recognizing Ava

Kiara's tears were flowing like a river, she said in a choking voice, "Yes, Oliver I admit that I tricked Ava and took those photos to break you two up but that's only because I really love you."

"What? How can you do this, Kiara? Do you have any conscience left? You drugged Miss Green and send her to someone's bed just because you love Oliver what kind of logic is that? Do you have any idea that you almost ruined Miss Green? I never thought you would be such kind of person. I am really disappointed in you today." Elizabeth got excited hearing Kiara's reason and she immediately started to scold her.

In the afternoon Oliver called Charles and informed him what Kiara had done. But Elizabeth still hoped that Oliver was wrong about Kiara but now when Kiara really confessed it she was disappointed and heartbroken.

"Grandma, I am really sorry. I was blinded by love and made this mistake." Kiara was in a panic, she already lost her face in front of the family so all she could do was justify her love for Oliver.

"Stop it, Kiara, now you are just making excuses. What you are talking about cannot be love. Love is not being selfish and harms others. Love is being patient and to wait to get what you deserve. If you and Oliver are not fated no matter what you do you cannot be with him. I told you if you like Oliver I'll help you to convince him. Why couldn't you trust me and wait? How could you do such vicious things to get Oliver?" Elizabeth couldn't hold anymore, this girl grew up in front of her she was attached to her very much but today this side of her character really made Elizabeth think twice about her ability to understand a person. She thought Kiara was very simple-minded, she was actually shocked when Oliver said those things about Kiara. She really didn't want to believe them but it all turns to be true.

"Grandma, I'm sorry, I was wrong." Kiara didn't know what to do, her true color was out in front of the Knight family so all she could do was accept her mistake at least that way they will not hate her. So she kept apologizing.

"Stop crying and go home. Reflect on yourself of what you have done." Although Elizabeth loved Kiara but the things she had done to Ava were unforgivable, so she didn't know if she could forgive Kiara anytime soon. If it was not for the relationship between the two families then Charles and Oliver wouldn't let Kiara go with this, that easily.

Kiara who really had no face left, ran out of the castle in tears. No one even bothered to give a glance at her way. They all were disappointed in her.

Oliver relaxed and looked at the brown envelope in front of him, actually, there was nothing related to the hotel security footage, he tried his best to retrieve them but Kiara already destroyed them. It was her guilty conscience that got her caught. She got scared and confessed everything. Oliver was relieved though because now he wouldn't have to maintain an unwanted relationship with Kiara anymore, he was finally free of that woman. If in the future she ever tries to harm Ava, he will make sure to give her a life that was uglier than death.

Conner was very satisfied with Oliver's efficiency, just in two day's he got Ava's name clear and exposed the main culprit. He was also happy that his son remembered his lessons and loved and believed his woman unconditionally. Looks like his son has really grown up and was able to handle any critical matter on his own. He has nothing to worry about anymore.

Conner hadn't meet Ava officially before but he still had a good impression of her because his wife and son liked her and now that he got to know her a little he could tell Ava was really a pure and simple girl he started to like her even more now and was very happy that his son has finally found his love.

Charles and Elizabeth were a little slow to recognize Ava but the girl was so polite it was hard not to like her. So after a while, they also warmed up to her and started to get to know her better.

They all had dinner together and it was very enjoyable. After dinner, the whole family sat in the living room and chatted for a long time.

Elizabeth asked Ava to sit beside her and looked at her with a gentle smile on her face. She held Ava's hand and started to ask various questions. The more she knew her the more she liked her. She was satisfied with Ava being their future granddaughter-in-law.

"Ava, I heard you work in the hospital," Elizabeth asked eagerly.

"Yes, grandma. I am a surgeon in the hospital." Ava said softly.

"Already a surgeon at such young age, it's really amazing," Elizabeth said happily she was really impressed with Ava.

"Actually compared to Oliver, I'm nothing," Ava said looking at Oliver and smiling gently.

Charles heard Ava, he chuckled and said, "What did he do? The foundation has already been laid for him, he is just keeping everything in order."

Oliver didn't say anything he just smiled. His grandfather was right, he had done all the hard work, and his father and he on the other hand was just maintaining it and extending the contract. He has been trained since childhood and he knew that his contribution to the company would also be vital. Under his leadership, Knight International is getting better every day.

"I still envy him very much. He seems to be excellent in everything. I don't think I can ever be as good as he is." Ava looked at Oliver, her eyes were full of admiration.

Ava was praising Oliver in front of his whole family, his heart was full of joy and a wide smile unconsciously showed up on his face.

Ella looked at Ava and her face was also full of smiles, now she was sure she didn't make any mistake by recognizing Ava as her daughter-in-law. She was young but she has a high IQ and EQ. Such a woman is definitely qualified to stand beside her son in the future. Despise the status gap she was still happy that Oliver found such an intelligent and humble girl.
