Let's see the stars together

Oliver and Ava walked around the whole castle and stopped at the beautiful garden behind the castle. Although it was nighttime, but under the moonlights its beauty was still enchanting. They were walking side by side holding hands in the garden, Oliver looked up and saw the sky was full of stars, he suddenly stopped and pulled Ava into his arm then said softly, " Ava, let's get out of here. I want to take you somewhere tonight."

Ava looked at him suspiciously and said, "Where? You are not planning to take me to a hotel now, are you?"

"No, silly girl! I want to take you up in the mountain and see stars with you." Oliver said looking at her seriously but there was a soft smile on his face.

Ava was stunned hearing that, she still remembered when she asked him to see stars before, how fiercely he reacted at that time. Ava bit her lips, and with hesitation, she said lightly, "Didn't you ask me not to mention stars in front of you ever?"

"Ava, it was then, now I want to see them with you and I also want you to know that I really love you," Oliver said with a smile hiding his complicated mind completely from her.

In the light breeze, Ava's open hair was flying and fell on her face, she looked at Oliver with tearful eyes. Oliver seldom told her that he loves her so his love confession was very precious to Ava. She blinked trying to stop the tears from falling.

"Oliver, I love you too."

"Why are you crying?" Oliver frowned. He was very afraid of Ava's tears.

"It's nothing, just a little overwhelmed." Ava wiped the tears that fell from her eyes and buried her head in Oliver's chest. She felt safe and secure in there.

"Silly girl, close your eyes." Oliver's said with a soft smile.

"Why?" Ava asked a bit puzzled.

"Just close it and trust me. Don't peek."

Ava closed her eyes and suddenly felt something cold on her neck. When she opened her eyes and looked down, she saw the angel pendant that Oliver got for her when he asked her out. She had left it with the breakup letter at his villa. Ava thought he would throw it away but looks like he still kept it.

"You are not allowed to take this pendent off your neck, ever. Do you understand?" Oliver said in his domineering tone and there was a slight warning in them.

Ava felt warm in her heart, she nodded and said, "Yes."

Oliver lowered his head and kissed Ava softly then with a smile on his face he pulled her toward his car and said, "Let's go."

"Are you cold?" Oliver felt the chilly wind and asked Ava with concern. Ava's dress was thin so he was worried she might catch a cold.

"Not really," Ava replied with a smile.

Oliver led Ava to his car and like a gentleman he opened the door for her then he got inside and helped her fasten her seatbelt. His every action was full of love and care. Ava smiled and thought Oliver has become so considerate, he will always put her needs first. Even if he didn't say he loved her often, she still could feel it in his concern and care every moment.

Oliver looked at Ava and asked curiously, "What are you laughing at?"

Ava looked at him and said, "Oliver, has anyone told you that you have really changed?"

Oliver narrowed his eyes slightly, and remembered once Uncle Joe told him, "CEO Knight, you have changed."

At that time, Oliver didn't give any thought to it but now that Ava also mentioned it he did realize that he has changed. At least the way he used to treat Ava or feel for her has changed. However, he was still the same cold and cruel Oliver Knight to the outsiders.

"So do you like it, I mean the changes?"

"Yes, I love it." Ava turned her head and looked right into Oliver's eyes.

Oliver smiled wide and stepped on the accelerator. The car run out of the castle into the deep night.

On the same night, at Beijing Capital International Airport.

In the hustle and bustle of the airport, a woman in a long white lacey dress walked towards the security check elegantly. The flowing long dress fluttered with her every step. Although it was night but she still wore a pair of RETRO SUNGLASSES on her palm face. In her every move, she exuded a natural noble spirit.

"Liam, you are here." The woman found Liam in the sea of people and walked to him calmly with a smile.

"Hi, welcome back to Beijing." Liam looked at the woman in front of him and said with a calm smile.

"Thanks, It's been years since I came here. Looks like many things have changed, will you show me around, Liam?" The woman smiled beautifully and asked expectantly.

"Are you ready to leave?" Liam asked ignoring her question and took the luggage from her hand.

"Of course." The woman leaned close to Liam and said with a confident smile on her face.

"You will have to stay low-key for a few days. I'll arrange an interview for you at Knight International soon." Liam held the woman's waist and walked toward the exit of the airport as he said.

"Won't you show me around? Didn't you say you will accompany me when I come back? I even came back ahead of time for you." The woman said in a coquettish tone.

"Don't forget your identity and the purpose, why you are here." Liam's eyes turned cold and he looked away. He didn't have to come here to receive her tonight from the airport but this woman was very stubborn. She threatened him saying, if he didn't come here to receive her personally from the airport, she will turn around and leave. Liam couldn't effort that she is the most important chess piece for him to destroy Oliver's happiness.

The woman's face fell and she mumbles unhappily, "I know, but when it's done, you must accompany me."

"I've arranged a hotel suite for you. Don't call me unless it's something very important. I'll contact you myself when the plan is in progress. Do you understand me, Melody?" Liam said once again ignoring her request.

Melody's starry eyes darkened as she replied lightly, "Yes."

She followed Liam to his Lincoln and they disappeared into the boundless night.
