How she became Mackie?

After the concert, Mackie came backstage to her green room. She slowly took off her mask and looked at the mirror in front of her. she could still see the woman's face, who left this city three years back with a broken heart. Three years ago, when she lost her child and found out about her husband's secret, she signed the divorce papers and ran away from that man. Back then she was hurt, confused, and weak but the woman who was staring back right now from the mirror was not that woman anymore. She was not soft and weak, through years of trials she became a strong and confident woman.

Daniel knocked on the door and came inside. He stood behind her and took her in his arm. "Wife you were amazing tonight."

"Really! I was a bit nervous tonight, after all, we are finally back."

"Honey, don't worry, your husband will always be there to support you and hold your hand, no matter what."

After leaving the city, Ava was very depressed and confused about her life. She didn't know what to do with her future, She was a doctor but that didn't appeal to her anymore. After she found out about Melody and Oliver, her life seemed like a lie. She even hated playing the piano, seeing a piano would remind her about her daughter and Oliver. She stayed home most of the time, and wouldn't talk much or smile. Daniel got very worried about her so he decided to buy her a piano even knowing that she hated to play.

Daniel always believed that Ava was born to be a pianist, and he was sure once she could put down her past behind she will eventually embrace her true passion for Piano. To inspire her he would play sometimes. His mother was a piano teacher, of course, Daniel's whole life was inspired by music and he could play the piano well. But to make Ava engage he would play the tune wrong and Ava would help him to play correctly. One day Ava heard Daniel play one of his mother's tunes and she didn't know why but she wanted to play with him.

Daniel let her play that day, and after she never stopped. Ava always played from her heart and Daniel knew it was a matter of time before she will make a name in the piano world. He was right, after attending some small competitions Ava became famous in the smaller circle then she started to do some small concerts. Someone from the Midsummer Dream saw one day Ava playing at a concert and he invited her to the famous Midsummer Dream as a special judge, she played at the completion to inspire the competitors and got praised by many people. After that day, she started to get requests for more concerts. Within short two years, Ava became the famous international pianist 'Mackie'.

"I know, Thank you, Danny. I don't know what I would do without you. I don't think I would ever become Mackie if it wasn't for you,"

All these years, Daniel has been with Ava. The A&D group that stands for Ava and Daniel was actually founded by Daniel. They settled down in California, USA and later she married Daniel there. They even have a lovely daughter, the family of three was very happy in the US but they knew they will have to come back. So here they are back in Beijing.

"Ava, honey I did nothing, you have always been so talented. I am just glad that your talent didn't go to waste. My beautiful wife!" To Daniel Ava was the most beautiful woman in the world and he was very proud to call her his wife.

"Thank you for your compliment, hubby," Ava said with a smile.

At that time Daniel's legal advisor and Ava's assistant Molly came into the room. Ava was still in Daniel's arms, she looked at the two and said with a tormented face, "Daniel, can't you leave your wife alone for a few seconds please, this is a public place."

Ava and Daniel both laughed out loud and Ava said in a teasing tone, "Molly, you should find a man and get married quickly then you wouldn't have to get tormented by us like that."

Molly looked at Daniel, blinked twice, and said looking away, "What are you talking about? I am fine just the way I am. Being single means being free and I love my freedom very much, thank you. Anyways I came here to say today's concert was a great success, now you should get ready for the charity event."

"Ok, you two get out I'll change my clothes and come out in a minute."

Ava didn't take long and after she came out of the greenroom Daniel led her out of the concert hall from the back door. Although there were many fans and reporters waiting for them at the back but Daniel's bodyguard didn't let anyone come close to Ava. Ava was wearing a hat to hide her face, she lowered her head, stepped into the black Lincoln RV, and left the venue.

Oliver was holding Orion in his arms, he was lost in deep thoughts. Kiara stood beside Oliver and asks with a smile, "Oliver, do you want to attend the charity event?"

"No, it's already 9. Orion is a little tired. Could you please take him back to the villa? I have something to do at the company." Oliver said solemnly.

Kiara knew Oliver was a workaholic, he didn't care about anything but his work and this little guy, so she didn't think much when he said he had to go back to work. Although Kiara was very curious about this event but as Oliver didn't want to go, she didn't insist and decided to be obedient and do as Oliver said. Their relationship was very stable at this moment so she didn't want to do anything that will cause any trouble between them. Kiara took drowsy Orion from Oliver and head back to Oliver's villa.

After Kiara left with Orion, Oliver got into his black Bugatti and drove straight to the charity event venue. As one of the leading companies in the city, Knight international also got the invitation to attend this charity event. Now that he knew Mackie was actually Ava he was sure A&D was either Ava or Daniel or both of their company. A&D has grown and come into the limelight in a very short period of time, although people say it's a very small company but Oliver thinks it's a capable one. Who knows maybe someday it will become Knight international's competitor, besides he needed to see Ava and find out more about A&D, so how could he not take the chance and go to the event?
