His smart boy

In the car, Orion was seated as usual with a lot of questions for Oliver. Oliver was driving and answering his curious son as best as he could.

"Dad, is there panda's in the zoo now? Last time I went there with Gramma and Granpa, there weren't any Pandas." Orion asks earnestly.

"There should be. We'll go and check it out." Oliver said with a deep smile as he thought of seeing Ava in a few minutes.

"Dad, why didn't mummy come with us today?" Orion asked innocently, usually, his godmother accompanies them, whenever they go somewhere.

"Your godmother is busy," Oliver said making an excuse. Now that Ava was back he needs to keep Orion away from Kiara, especially after what she did last night. He didn't want Kiara to use Orion to talk about marriage again.

They were already at the Zoo. Oliver parked the car and got out, holding Orion's little hand he went to buy tickets.

"Dad, how did you think of visiting the zoo today all of a sudden?" Orion asked looking directly at his father as if trying to read his mind.

Oliver obviously wasn't paying attention to what his son was doing, so he blurted out without thinking, "Someone sent me two tickets to the zoo, so I decided to bring you here rather than wasting it."

"Dad, you are lying, didn't you just buy the tickets?" Orion said with a knowing look on his face.

Oliver: "..."

Oliver felt helpless and cursed himself inside, why he keeps forgetting his boy was very smart and very observant? Of course, he was able to catch his lies and throw that in his face. Sometimes Oliver wondered how he had such a high IQ, he was only 3 years old. If he could pin his own father at this age, what he will do when he will grow older?

Oliver sighed and said with a smile, "Daddy forgot the tickets at the office, but since I already brought you here, then why not visit it and see if the pandas are here now."

Orion was not convinced by his father's answer but he didn't question it either. The father and son entered the Zoo and started to walk side by side holding hands. Suddenly Orion stopped walking seeing a woman seating on one of the benches on the walkway under the shade. At first glance, he thought the woman looked familiar; doesn't she look like the picture he found at their home? But she had straight black hair whereas this woman had brown waves. Orion stared at the woman for a while before he concluded this was the woman in the picture. So was that his mother? If she was and if she was in the country, why didn't she come to see him? Orion felt some anger in his heart and he started to resent the woman in front of him.

Oliver was puzzled when Orion stopped; he followed his gaze and saw Ava was seating a few feet away from them. Oliver observed Orion's face and realized he has recognized her and he could also see the anger in his eyes. Oliver sighed and crouched down in front of Orion and said in a very serious voice, "Little champ, listen to me carefully. Don't use inappropriate or rude words and behave yourself. And don't mention anything random. OK!"

Orion blinked and looked at his father's eyes, seeing the seriousness in them he knew it was wise for him to obey him. Although Orion already harbored some kind of dislike for the woman in his heart but he still nodded to his father. They walked hand in hand to her as Orion kept staring at Ava.

"Ava! What a coincidence, what are you doing here?" Oliver asked in his deep magnetic voice with a charming smile on his face. At first, he wanted to pretend not to see her but knowing her, he knew she would straightaway ignore him if he does that, so he came forward to greet her.

Ava was completely shocked to see Oliver and cursed him in her mind. Why does he have to be everywhere, she wanted to have less contact with him but he would always come in front of her in some way. Ava was irritated and she didn't even try to hide it, she said coldly, "CEO Knight! I didn't expect to see you here."

"Are you visiting alone?" Oliver asked trying to be as polite as he can since Orion was with him.

"Nope." Ava's eyes fell on the little boy beside Oliver. The boy looked very cute but there was arrogance in his cold eyes which reminded Ava of Oliver when she met him first. Ava observed the boy and noticed he actually looked a lot like him too. So Daniel was right, it was indeed Oliver's own child. Ava didn't know why she felt a pang of hurt in her heart. She already believed it would be his own son when Daniel said it but when she actually saw the boy she was actually sad thinking of some other woman giving birth to his child. A surge of anger suddenly rose in her, God knows who was that woman, who gave birth to his child. However, the weird thing was for some reason Ava couldn't hate the child even knowing he was born from Oliver's lover. When she looked at him her heart warmed and she wanted to take the boy in her arm. There was something about him, although he looked like Oliver and had the same arrogant attitude as him but she still felt protective of him, which confused Ava.
