Crazy

Ava's eyes widened and her stomach flipped for some unknown reason, then fear started to crawl inside her, she clenched her teeth and said angrily, "Oliver, are you crazy? What kind of demand is that?" Was he trying to push her all the way to the deep abyss?

"Crazy?" Oliver murmured to himself and suddenly looked at her fiercely, "Yes, I've been crazy for years. You are too good Ava, three years ago, you left quietly, leaving me with my guilt. You didn't even let me explain anything to you. Do you know how I've been looking for you for all this time like a madman? Since you decided to leave, why did come back now? And you married Daniel! Ava was once again slammed by Oliver's words, she couldn't refute this time so she said instead, "You know what Oliver, think whatever you want to think. I don't care. I know you won't withdraw the lawsuit so after it is settled we will go through the normal divorce procedure to get a divorce!"

"Have you ever thought about the consequences of doing that? Do you know how the media will tear you and your Daniel down once the news was out? In the end, Ava you are so selfish to let Daniel get hurt for your own gain. You are indeed a heartless woman." Oliver hit where it hurt the most.

Ava fell silent, she also knew if she go through the case, it will ruin Daniel's reputation completely and A&D will fall. Oliver runs the city he has a very good relationship with all the major Media companies so no one will dare to go against him, instead she and Daniel will become their target. And if the news of Daniel's involvement with that fake accident three years ago comes out somehow then he will be finished. Ava closed her eyes trying hard to control her breathing which suddenly went frantic in panic. What should she do?

Ava stayed quiet for a while then said in a low voice, "Oliver do you really have to do this? Your problem is with me, please leave him out of it?"

Oliver laughed out loud again but this time it sounded bitter. She was still thinking about that bastard. Oliver looked at Ava coldly and said," You don't get it, do you, Ava? My main purpose to file this lawsuit was to make Daniel suffer, not you. I will ruin him, believe me, or not."

Blood drain from Ava's face, she knew he was capable of doing that. She stared at him for a while then said angrily, "Oliver is it necessary to drag him into our business? Oliver warned Ava coldly, turned, and left without looking back.
