In the movie theatre

It was the day Ava was supposed to go to the movie with Orion and Oliver. Although Ava didn't like the idea of watching a movie with Oliver but for the sake of the child she decided to ignore the man and go. Besides Ava knew he wouldn't try anything funny in front of Orion so she felt a bit reassured. In the afternoon after work, Ava came directly to Oliver's villa to pick up Orion as she promised. She stopped her car and barely got out when she saw the father and son coming out of the villa holding hands. Orion was wearing one of the clothes that Ava bought for him, he looked adorable in them. Ava smiled thinking if she should buy more clothes for the child next time she goes shopping.

"We are taking my car," Oliver said in his signature cold voice and walked toward his car.

Ava was so focused on Orion that she didn't even notice the big man beside the little boy until he just talked. Ava looked at him and saw him in a casual light blue shirt and khaki chinos, he looked more handsome than usual. Ava stared at him with twinkling eyes and felt bubbles popping out in her heart like she was a teenage girl watching her crush from afar. God is really unfair, how could this man still look so handsome after so many years? He didn't look like he aged at all. Ava stood there in a trance admiring Oliver, didn't even notice the father and son have already got into the car. Oliver noticed Ava staring at him, he smiled to himself but called out coldly, "Ava, I know I am very handsome but if you are planning to stand there all afternoon and admire me then we are going to miss the movie."

Only then Ava realized she was staring at him for full 5 minutes. She wanted to slap herself, how could this man still affect her like that? Ava's face turned completely red she lowered her eyes, refusing to even look at the man again as she quickly ran toward Oliver's car. She was about to open the back door when Oliver coldly stated, "Sit in the passenger seat, Orion doesn't like to share seats with anyone at the back."

Ava hesitated but eventually sat on the passenger seat, it's not like she never sat in the passenger seat with him before. The car atmosphere was very peaceful, Orion and Ava both were looking outside the window silently while Oliver was driving carefully. After all his whole family was in the car with him, at that thought Oliver glanced at Ava when they were stuck on a signal. She wore a simple navy blue wrap dress but the color actually complimented her white skin, she still had the pink shade on her cheeks from the embarrassment earlier, which made her look very cute. Her brown waves were pulled up in a messy bun on the top of her head, few strands of her hair came out from the side and the back of her head making her look more youthful, Oliver liked that look on her. However, like his usual arrogant self he didn't compliment her he just looked forward and concentrated on his driving.

It didn't take him long to reach their destination, he brought them to the AVA's. Although it was a weekday still the mall was very busy the basement and 1st-floor parking lot were completely full. Oliver went all the way to the 2nd floor and finally found a space to park his car. They got out Oliver habitually held Orion's hand in one hand and with his free hand, he held Ava's hand and start to pull them toward the elevator.

Ava was stunned by the action, she quickly pulled out her hand from Oliver and said, I can walk by myself. Seeing that Orion pulled out his hand from his father and came between Oliver and Ava then he held Oliver's hand with one hand and Ava's hand with his other hand. Ava didn't object this time she smiled and let Orion pull her. Oliver looked her his son and wife, his heart felt full of happiness at that moment.

However, Ava looked at the father and son beside her and felt bitter in her heart if that accident didn't happen 3 years ago she would probably be living happily with Oliver and her daughter now. They would go to places to have fun and watch movies just like now. However, she was not with Oliver anymore and this child was not her. She couldn't understand if Oliver really didn't care about their child, then why did he adopt Orion?

Ava went to the counter to buy tickets with Orion while Oliver went to buy popcorn and juice. By the time Ava came out Oliver was waiting for them near the counter holding the beverages. As Ava and Orion came to him, Oliver picked up Orion on his arm and walked toward the cinema hall. He didn't want Orion to trip and fall in the dark hall. Ava took the beverages from Oliver and start to follow him. They looked like a family of three at that moment to onlookers.

They found their seats easily and Orion sat in the middle holding the popcorn bucket as he focused on the movie, while Ava and Oliver ate from the bucket. Suddenly Oliver and Ava both stretched out their hands at the same time to take the popcorn but instead of popcorn, they held each other's hand. Both of them were stunned and looked at each other, Oliver smirked and Ava pulled her hand embarrassedly. Orion saw that and quickly held both of their hand and kept watching the movie. Now Ava was even more flustered, her hand was still in Oliver's hand but she couldn't pull it back. Her heart was beating drums in her chest and her cheeks felt warm. How many times she has been with this man, for god's sake she had a child with this man, still, her heart reacted like this was the first time she has ever seen him. She couldn't concentrate on the movie at all because one, Oliver's warm hand was sending electric shocks through her vein and second the sly man was rubbing his fingers around her hands which was doing something to her core.

Oliver on the other hand chuckled silently at his don's craftiness and kept teasing Ava until the movie ended. He didn't let go of her hand even for the second in the theatre. He kept glancing at the woman from time to time and could see the pink hue on her white cheek, he couldn't help but smile thinking how beautiful she looks when she feels shy. The more Oliver sees her like this the more he felt reluctant to let her go. Yesterday he thought if it made her happy he would let her go but today he was not sure anymore that he was capable of doing so.
