Endangered Love: Will Love Conquer All

As I lay there with my eyes closed just waiting for the pills to do their job I can not help but feel bad, being the weak one. I came all this way to rescue Mikayla and now I am the one lying on the ground needing the rescue.

But I do feel happy that the storm has stopped and the sun has come out. This can only mean one thing, search and rescue must be on their way already. If I can just be normal for a little while I will be extremely happy.

Then I feel the nausea disappearing and I try to sit upright. I can feel a little bit dizzy but it is not as severe as before. I start to smile because I am starting to feel like myself again. I can only hope that when Mikayla returns I will be able to be the man she needs.

I run hesitantly to the woman screaming for a doctor and as I get there it is a child that must have cut himself open on something. I quickly bend down to their level and start to clean the wound.
