Dream

I woke up feeling nauseous. I groaned when I try to stand up because of my headache. When I recover, I slowly opened my eyes to see where I was. The last thing I can remember is when I passed out in our school's cafeteria after meeting that mysterious guy.

I put my hand on my head and creased my forehead when I saw my familiar room. My brows furrowed in confusion. How did I got here? Does Eli brought me home? But she can send me in the infirmary instead of bringing me home.

And how long did I fell asleep? Why does it seems like it's already dark outside? I stood up and was about to take a peek on my window when I was disturbed by the loud sound of my alarm clock.

I froze.

I immediately went to my night table to turn off my alarm clock.

It's already 5am. Weird. Did I fell that bad to fell this deeply asleep?

I shrugged my head and went to the bathroom to take a bath. I'm still confused and everything is weirding me out. But inspite everything, I manage to take a bath and do my morning routine before going to school.

I was greeted by the loud voice of Eli when she saw me approaching our school's gate. She seems so excited like we haven't just met yesterday.

"Luna!" she exclaimed. I waved my hand at her.

"I'm fine. No injuries." I said that made her forehead creased.

"Ofcourse your fine. Why? Have you been into a car accident?"

"No." I shook my head while creasing my forehead too. Eli looked at me confusingly.

"You're weird." she said and chuckled before clinging her hands into my arm. Eli starts filling me again with her stories. All about Jason, and her date with him. I cannot help but to roll my eyes with the same story that she's telling.

"Yeah, I know. You already told me." I said cutting her off before she even start telling me about how did Jason kiss her.

She stopped from walking before putting her all attention into mine, finally coming back from her fantasy with her new boyfriend.

"I've told you before?" her eyes furrowed. I nod at her.

"Yeah. Yesterday, at the cafeteria."

"What? Yesterday is Sunday. We haven't met since weekend Luna." she explained.

My lips parted with that. I slowly shook my head in disbelief. That can't be.

"No Eli. We met yesterday. At the cafeteria. And then you told me about your date. And then, there's a guy. I dropped the tray of food I have. And... And, I passed out. When I woke up, I just found myself inside my room again. I thought you brought me home." I explained.

Eli looked at me with confusion in her eyes. Obviously, she's not believing in what I have just said.

"You mean, you dreamed?"

I froze.

O my god.

Was it just a dream? Damn. Everything that happened yesterday is just a dream? What the hell! It's impossible! This is ridiculous.

"No. That's not a dream." I said frustratedly.

"Then what is it? Because base on your story, none of it happened yesterday. I was at our house the whole day. Plus, need I remind you that yesterday is Sunday!"

I didn't answer. I don't know how to explain it. I am not convinced that it is just a dream. Because that would be real weird.

"You know what, you're just hungry. Or maybe stressed? Yep! You're stressed. Stressed of Mr. Tiu and his damn requirements. I feel you girl." she said and cling into my arms again.

She dragged me while continuing with her stories. I was absentmindedly following her when someone caught my eyes. I stopped mid step when I saw him. He was leaning against the wall, hands on his pocket, and eyes on me. I quietly gasped and froze when our gaze met. It's him again. It's the same eyes I saw yesterday. It's the same intensity, that same dark brown eyes. I knew for sure that it was him!

"Luna?"

"Wait Eli." I stopped Eli when she tried to pull me. She took a glance at the direction I am staring at.

"You know him?" she asked. I shook my head.

"No, but I saw him yesterday."

"Where?"

"In our cafeteria." I replied and glance back at her. Eli pursed her lips into thin line before shrugging her head.

"C'mon Luna. Stop joking around. Don't tell me he's your boyfriend?"

I sighed and gave up explaining to Eli. She's not gonna believe it anyway. But I am sure everything that happened yesterday wasn't just a dream. Because if it is, then that would be really beyond belief. When I look back at the guy, he's already gone.

I sighed.

"Yiee, Luna. Is he your boyfriend?" Eli teased. I shook my head.

"I don't even know the guy."

"Then why are you looking curiously at him?" she poked my cheeks. I looked away and rolled my eyes.

"Nevermind."

"Yiee. Luna has a crush! And he's handsome. Finally, some romantic bones." and she kept on teasing me the whole day as if her life is too boring that I was left to be her only entertainment.

My day ended quickly and I was extremely tired than I expected it to be. I jumped on the bed when I got home. I lie down facing my ceiling and blink several times when I try to gather all my thoughts about what happened in the past few days.

Eventually, I ended up falling asleep.

I woke up feeling a shallow kiss on my cheek. I smiled when I smell his familiar scent.

"My Alpha..." I whispered when I opened my eyes. I was greeted by a peck on my lips and I cannot help but to smile.

"Are you still tired?" he asked while removing some strands of my hair that's covering my face. I nodded at him.

We've been into an adventure. He brought me in a place under the big tree surrounded by beautiful butterflies. I fell asleep after a long day spending with him.

"Do we need to go home?" I asked at him. Because I still want to stay. I want it in here.

In front of me is a lake where I can see clearly the reflection of the moon above. And I always adore the moon. It's always full here. It's always looking magnificent.

"We can stay. But only for awhile." he said and I watched as he stood up. I followed him as he went in front of the lake.

"Is there any problem?"

He stayed silent for awhile. I watched him as he lost in his own thoughts. I only knew him for awhile. I don't even know his name aside from calling him Alpha. That is what others call him here. I cannot clearly remember when we met but I just woke up one day that I am already here, beside him. Feeling a different kind of feeling, bond and connection that I can only feel with him.

"I need you here Luna." he said. I glanced at him.

"But I am here."

He shook his head and put both of his hand on his lower back, imitating a royal king.

"The day is coming near."

"What do you mean?" my forehead creased.

He licked his lips and shook his head. He then looked at me and lifted my chin so our eyes can meet.

"There are things that I failed to tell you... and I am afraid you might hate me for that."

My lips parted. I don't even know his name yet I am here. How come that I will hate him?

"I won't." I assured. He sighed deeply before nodding. He pulled me into his chest and press his lips on the top of my head.

We stayed there in silence for awhile. Then, I heard noises around us. There are many sound of footsteps approaching us. My alpha stay stilled. Like me, he also recognize unwanted visitors in our place.

"Damn." he whispered. My heart double it's pace because of fear.

"What's happening?"

"When I said run, you will run."

I shook my head and let go from his hug. I cannot understand. Is there danger?

I heard growls from wild animals and each passing second, the sounds are getting louder. My hands are already shaking in fear.

"Listen. You need to run and hide. They are near. I want you to run away from here."

"Who are they?" I bit my lip. He didn't answer.

"Please. Just follow me."

"What about you?"

"They won't hurt me." he answered.

"And they will hurt me?" I asked im fear. Again, he didn't answer. I swallowed hard.

"Do you trust me?" he asked.

It took me time to answer him. After all, he's the only person I know in this world.

"Yes." I nod.

"Good. In the count of three, I want you to run. And never look back. Run until you woke up."

"Woke up?"

"Luna..." he called me, making me focus in his instructions. At the end I only nodded.

"I will count."

"Will I see you again?"

"Yes."

"Okay." I answered Without any questions anymore. Though I have a lot of questions in my head, I know now is not the right time for that.

"In 3...2..."

And the growl becomes louder. I closed my eyes tightly.

"1! Run!" he shouted and I obey. I run.

I ran as fast as I could with tears trickling down my face. He said I should run until I woke up. I should run and hide. And I should never look back.

But I did.

I look back. I try to see what's happening there. I try to see who's coming. But I only regret looking back.

I put my hand in my mouth in shock with what I saw. Then I stopped running. I saw them. I saw him. My alpha.

And...I cannot believe with what I saw because he .... He just transformed!
