Hunters of Artemis

I frowned when I saw the man coming in. He was staring at me and my brother for a while, looking like he was trying to find something. "Sir?" I tried to get him out of his thoughts. "Ah. Hello there children." replied Hermes as smiled

I looked at him in suspicion. 'Is he really a god?' I thought to myself silently. I thought Gods would be more cold towards people. 'Did he really call us children? Me and Evan are already 13 and Thalia is 15. Oh wait I'm really dumb, he is a god that is thousands of years old.' I looked at him curiously "Are you really Hermes? Luke's dad?"

"Hahaha, What do you think?" he questioned back

"I don't know, I thought gods would be more cold and expressionless" I said

"And why did you think that?" He asked

"I don't know, probably because they are gods" I answered

"I-" Hermes was about to speak but Luke cut him off "Why are you here" Luke asked

'Seems like their relationship is not very good huh' I thought. Me, Evan and the Girls watched as the two got into a heated argument. It lasted for a while until Luke left the house and we followed him out quietly. He continued to remain gloomy until we picked up a Satyr, named Grover Underwood, and headed straight for camp.

"So Thalia, that was cool of you to follow us instead of joining the Hunters" I tried to ease the mood by trying to distract Luke.

"Wait you guys met the Hunters of Artemis? When and How?" asked Grover

-Several Hours ago, Before going to Luke's House-

"ANNABETH BE CAREFUL!" I shouted as a 'Nemean Lion caught us off guard. I pulled her to the Side as the monster tried to kill us. I brought out my sword and slashed at it, injuring the lion. 'that should have been enough to kill it' I frowned "COME AT ME" I yelled as I prepared to use a sword technique. I felt chills running down my back as I turned around and saw an arrow going straight for me. 'F***' as I quickly dodged. 'where the f*** did that come from?' as I looked at my surroundings closely. 'What....' I saw a few girls with their bow drawn before killing the lion with their arrows.

"What the hell, why did you shoot at us" demanded Luke

"You guys look like monsters" answered one of the girls

"Wha-"

"Come with us, she has been waiting" said another as she interrupted Luke

We followed them into one of their tents and saw a girl seated in front of them. I frowned and thought of something. 'Their weapons and dress is very similar to that of.....' suddenly a thought occurred to me 'Is it.....' I looked at the girl in surprise.

"Looks like one of you have figured out who I am" said the girl "I am Artemis"

Evan looked at me in confusion 'as expected...' I sighed. 'This is why you need to read more' I thought before gesturing him to be quiet. Luke looked like he was going to say something but I also gestured to him to stay calm and not interfere.

"I would like to invite you girls to join us to become hunters" stated Artemis

After a brief moment of silence, Thalia spoke "I do not wish to become a huntress"

"No" stated Annabeth behind me

"What a pity" said Artemis

"Why? Men are a**holes" asked one of the girls

I frowned at her, but didn't say anything. On the way here we got to know their names and the one that shot at me was Zoe Nightshade. Thalia didn't say anything more but I knew that she also didn't like her tone. I looked at Artemis and discovered that she was looking at me and Evan with surprise and confusion. I frowned and thought 'Did she find out?'

Artemis had let us go soon after.
