Eve's POV
It's already past seven when we arrived home. Emma dropped us at our house and bid as goodbye. I can see a total happiness in Amy's eyes. She really is easy to please. Aiden is surely lucky to have my cousin.
We skipped dinner because Emma took us to a nice restaurant that she reserved since this morning plus the fact that Uncle John and Aunt Annalee didn't insist for us to eat.
Amy took off earlier than me. I could tell she is quite tired for all the gigglings and screaming with Emma. I also went to my room to rest but my mind forbid me. I kept thinking about ICE. Maya warned me about him. He is like a boogeyman and I should stay away from him. But staying away won't answer all my questions. I need to find anything.
I searched to every site that Maya told me about. I already had accounts for each sites and groups. I am currently looking for a place where I can make a trade. Trade for any information. In the world I grew up to there's always access to everything as long as you know who and how to ask. It took me all night to enter other database and not to forget to secure my location. I know that one little mistake, one little leak can put me and everyone I cared about into harms way.
Morning.
"Wake up sleepy head".
I heard someone said and I just groaned at her. I just slept for about two hours and so. My head is still spinning.
"Eve, wake up!".
"Why?".
"Mum asked if you want to come with us?".
"Where?".
"Steelblood mansion".
As soon as I heard Amy said Caeron's family name I lost my interest. "Pass!". I said and buried my head on my pillow.
"Are you sure?".
"Hmm!". That's the only answer I gave her.
"Okay... Well if you get hungry there's food in the fridge". Amy said and I felt her leave.
"Say hi to Emma for me!". I quickly shouted at her.
"Okay!". And my door shut.
I slept again for almost three hours more. My stomach is grumbling. I really needed to eat or my own belly will eat me. I jumped out of my bed and walked straight to the kitchen. Amy said there was food in the fridge. I took one of the microwave safe container and heated it. Then I remembered my bike. I still need some adjustment for it.
I opened the garage and saw my 'baby' just standing there quietly. "My little bundle of joy". I whispered to myself. "Let's work some magic in you!".
I remembered a Tech store near the ice cream shop where Emma treat us. I was supposed to check it out after but almost forgot about it. Now I really needed to buy a lot of stuff. Good thing Amy and her parents went to the Steelblood home. I smirked. Who wants to see that slut boy anyway though his family name is cool but he isn't.
I hurriedly took Uncle John's mountain bike, without permission of course, and flew to that Tech store. I only have limited time to pimp Cherry, that's my big bike's new name. And I have to start as soon as I get all the stuff I needed.
Cable wires, motherboard, spy cam, cable ties and other stuff. After buying the things I needed I went home and go straight to the garage.
And like a psycho I look at Cherry with electric drill and Allen wrench on my hands. "Sorry baby but I need to put holes in you. Don't worry I'll be very gentle".
And I start working on her. I put a spy cam in front of her headlight. I need it to record things that I needed incase I need some evidence. I carved secret pockets to put my guns, yes I still do own some guns and also some knives and one of my favorite is the moon blades that Maya gave me. She said I was holding it when she found me. She thought, probably it was a family heirloom that's why she keeps it and gave it to me when I turned twelve and to my surprised I easily learned how to use it as if it was thought to me before. It already took several lives already within my hand and I am not afraid to use it again if I have to.
Almost whole day before I finished Cherry's make over. I tried the technical parts then the manual parts when I'm satisfied. I cleaned her and put back her coat.
"Good job baby!". I said and smiled her.
